Morning all,
8/12 for yesterday please Shaggy0 -
Good morning everyone,
12 AFD please Shaggy.
Gosh you're a busy lot, haven't had a chance to read, but will try and catch up with you all later. There are a few new names which is amazing for this time of year.

Made it to 10/16 please and very pleased about that too! Think I can achieve 6 or hopefully more AFDs by the end of the month:j
Welcome Heatlh & wealth; good luck with increasing your health too. Think lots of us are beginning to realise the importance of health; I know I am and it is related to getting older. I see friends my age who have done much less well in the lottery of health and I want to be able to do things as long as I can; there's so much to do and so many places to see that can only happen if reasonably fit.
HoneyBear one of the hardest things I have had to do is empty elderly relatives houses. It is so sad seeing such cherished things that have no intrinsic value but were much loved. I am trying to declutter so my children or husband do not have to do the same amount for me!
Green Karen good luck with the dissertation, just starting is the main thing even if later you rewrite lots at least you are on the way and at best it's fab stuff you are proud of when you re-read!
And again thanks to Shaggy for the thread; I may be repeating but this thread makes such a difference to me; I have thought frequently I will not drink during the week and usually fail day 2 or even on a really bad day Day 1!0 -
Gosh everyone else is doing so well this month! I was on holiday at the start of the month, and even though I've made it to a total of 4/10 so far, that is appalling! I had one glass of wine on Weds night and regretted it in the morning as a waste of an AF day!
Can't see how I am going to make my target this month, but I am not giving up hope just yet. I do have Christmas work do and my birthday next week which isn't going to helpWhat goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -
:santa2: welcome health & wealth. Great time to start. I find having AF days helps enormously but probably even more pleased to drink sensibly on my chosen drinking days. I was afraid I'd be playing catch up (drinking the same but concentrated into weekends) but that hasn't happened. My tolerance has dropped and I often stop/take a break mid evening.
Interesting post HB. Given me lots to think about for 2017.:)0 -

Good evening everyone, sorry I haven't been around the update, the kids have been hogging the laptop!
I am calling in to report Monday and tonight as AF days so I am currently on 7/20 and it looks like I'm not going to hit my target this month. I'm going to keep trying though and have a good stab at it.
I hope you're all keeping warm and healthy ahead of the challenges over the next week or so
