    31 days up for grabs!

    Everyone Welcome!!!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Thanks for setting my target for December Shaggy. I'm determined to meet it although, as for most people, December is a very social month.

My DH is proud of me too dizzy. He often says 'you're being good' when I refuse a drink but I think there's a tinge of guilt in there that he's not joining me. When he looks at his waistline he knows that booze (and biscuits!) are responsible but it doesn't seem to spur him to cut back. He's a regular drinker but controlled and neither is he hugely overweight but it's his choice.:)

Definitely AF today. I'm considering tomorrow but jury's still out on that one. Adding an extra AF day to the weekend worked wonders as I lost the weight gain from last week and more.:D

    11 AFDs please.

Target day for me although I'm hoping to get a few more in before the end of the month.

I was out last night and told myself (for diet purposes if I'm honest) that I was just having a single glass. I enjoyed it so much that it was a massive struggle not to have more but I managed it somehow.

I think my OH is stunned that I've been AF for about two and a half years and a little bit frightened that I seem to have found some self-control after all these years.

Well done for reaching your target and resisting temptation, Maman.

Wecome Poor Single Lady. That feeling of being fed up with waking up with regrets, missing out, not being in control, flashbacks and the battering our bodies take sounds very familiar. Well done for making the decision to do something about it.

24/30 for November and 31 for December please Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.
  • Thanks everyone for such a nice welcome.

I think I should have done something about my drinking a long time ago. It definitely feels like the right thing to do. Significantly cutting back. Nothing till december which is

    11 days.

Thank you again for the support.

14/14 for me please Chuffed - met target and resisted last night even when sat with colleagues who had 2 bottles between 3. It was probably easier as I had said I was driving so not drinking. So hoping for a couple more days before December but am going to have a glass of wine tonight.

Good luck Poor Single Lady, I too know the feeling that next morning!
