Thanks Honey Bear I hadn't thought of it like that. I think I'm having a stressful time full stop. A lot of work and no play makes Smiley not that smiley. Which isn't going to help any.Do I really need it? Probably not.:A0

Well happy weekend everybody. I am reporting 9/12.I won't meet my target this month. OH has been stopping at mine and he has been drinking on an evening. I find it hard to unwind without a drink when I work long hours. Sometimes I only have an hour before finishing work and bed. He wants to spend it together watching tv but if I do I can't sleep. So I spent the hour with him and had a drink to knock me out. Now I type this I realise how lame it sounds. I know it isn't 'good' sleep when you drink. I have tried to explain it to OH but he doesn't understand.
I recognise this part of your problem smiley. I used to 'reward' myself with a drink when I got in from work. Another thing I'd do is spend all evening AF because I was working or driving or both and then get home, open a bottle and play catch up on what I'd missed. That wasn't enjoyable, relaxed social drinking it was just pouring it down my neck as quickly as possible.:o
Now I make a point of putting the kettle on as soon as I get in. I wouldn't dream of wasting a potential AF day by starting drinking late in the evening. I couldn't help notice your signature smiley 'Do I really need it? Probably not.:A.' I'm sure you can see the irony there. For me it's about making new habits. Good luck.:)
P.S. Why won't you make your target when there's 16 days left and you're only 3 off?
Back on the wagon today. I'm hoping for a good week and (at least) my 7 day smiley before the weekend.
5 AFDs please Shaggy.

Managed to not drink my glass of fizz (came with the lunch) on Saturday - instead my sister shared it with mum and I had a sparkly apple and pomegranate instead - which was very nice indeed actually, thank-you-very-much2018 AFD 23/240
