Nope. Not AF today. Lots of Chenin Blanc but I'm behaving (so far) and enjoying feeling mellow.

Got a handle on things though, which is utterly amazing for me!!!

I just wanted to go to bed early. The booze just got me through the evenings. Slept for 12 hours solid last night when I finally arrived home.
Can still make target if don't go mad. Not away this week (so far anyway) so it's very possible.

Interesting, isn't it, that we all feel so compelled to socialise when we're with colleagues that everyone stays up drinking - because they think everyone else expects it. I hope you catch up on the missed sleep and start to feel human again really quickly, which in my experience always took three good nights sleep. Good luck with the rest of the month.

Well done! It's a huge change, going from drinking every day to not doing so, so even if you don't make your target it's a big deal. :T

You don't do it very often Dizzy, so I hope you enjoyed it and you don't regret it this morning.

    23/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

Thanks Honey Bear. I just want to get to a place where a glass of wine is part of an occasional treat and socialising and not a daily solitary destructive habit.

    Declaring 19/31 please shaggy

    23/31 for tonight please.
  • Thanks HB. Yes we do feel compelled to stay up, but also in my job it is noted if I don't as I am deemed not to be a team player. What I really need to do is skip the alcohol, then I will have a better night's sleep even if it is a late one.

Calling in early with 10/14 AF thanks. Will hit my target if it kills me.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
