HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIZZY
Hope that Merlot tastes fantastic as I bet you appreciate the flavour more now.Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -
Good luck with the work entertaining Karen! My DH's company have banned alcohol at corporate events. Customers can buy their own, but what's on offer is always AF. I think this is because they've had several bad experiences of having to handle drunk blokes in posh places
Great idea! And people would go to bed earlier too if not drinking then I wouldn't be expected to stay up with them! What a great idea and not only does it promote better behaviour but productivity must increase on the next day too. Must be hard to have to work all day and then have to mingle and socialise with work in the evenings too. I guess it can intrude on family life and personal time. I hope it goes ok for you Karen.
:rotfl:
Thanks CuppaTea, yes it's a killer to do the long days, have 15 mins to change out of my casual work clothes then go out with everyone at night. Have been away 19 out of last 20 working days and am exhausted. I don't even get a weekend this one coming as I will be up Sat morning and out by 5.30am, working all weekend then a full working week, again with customers in the evenings.
I am currently looking for another job, shame as I actually love the job, but not the hours and the travelling.
9/7 AF days thanks Shaggy0 -

That sounds completely crazy, GK. No matter how much you love the work no-one can keep up that kind of schedule over time.
23/30 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
