Unfortunately I seem to have brought a chest infection home from my holiday so upside is that I don't feel like drinking. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and enjoy the match.

Time to jump back in. Can I go for 20 for July please Shaggy. Lost our dear dear much loved grandmother (as peacefully as can be, bless her, so grateful for that). Work tomorrow, want to keep that in perspective. Thanks Shaggy for keeping score 😘

    Morning Everyone,

Another AF achieved. Went to bed relatively early with a herbal tea. Unfortunately ate three crackers with cheese before that annihilating my carb free diet.

Picking up laptop today from Apple Store so hopefully can add colour and font size easily from now on without wanting to lob iPad at wall.

    welcome Anita55
    Hugs Dansmam

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

1/16 for last night for me please. After the day I have had so far today it will be very easy to find an excuse to hit the bottle tonight, but I need to be strong, I've done so badly the last couple of months.

I hope you held out, Elusive Lucy, and felt better for it. Fingers crossed for a better day today.

Day 2 for me, is it ok for me to join in, did try once before didn't get very far.

Hi Anita! I think I first posted about five years before I finally knocked the drinking on the head. Anything's possible as long as you want it enough.

*Healing vibes* heading your way, Maman. Fingers crossed for Wales. Even I'm going to be watching, and I'm not a footie fan! OH has carefully planned a meal of cold meats, cheese and dips for us - not that he's a lazy s*d when it's his turn to 'cook.' Gotta love him.

Condolences, Dansmum. I'm sure you have a lot of lovely memories stored up that'll get you through the next few days and weeks. It's the only thing that makes losing people bearable.

    6/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.
