Queenoftheworld, it is you that is actually prolonging the thread. as you rightly say the OP has been given advice which she is free to take or ignore. OP appears to have left the forum.
I think we should be questioning why you seem Intent on drawing attention to this, are you somehow stalking the OP and have a vendetta to keep her embarrassment at the top of this forum for all to see?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Exactly.
No one cares QueenoftheWorld...give it up0 -
it's not her embarrassment, its yours! Who is reading this anyway???The thread was long done - who drew it back up? Soolin - sure looked like you dipped right in (though my original comment wasn't to you). And this whole forum loves to antagonise a person, it will be 5 of you commenting but the one who gets it - if they say one thing - it'll be them who dragged it out? You ganged up on the OP - I stuck up for her and I'd do it again and again.
Your opinion of me, means nothing, that I stuck up for someone who was being harassed, does. Again, please see my observation - this is what gets you all upset and dragging it out? (and yes, it is you otherwise you could have walked away about 10 times so far) You should be ashamed.
You are the most bizarre group of people. try living in the real world (off your computer, forum and the place where you can control the world in your own mind) and see if your tactics work with real people or if they put you in your place and teach you about manners for once in your shut-in life. Go ahead and poke a few people several times as you do on here and see how long you can do it.
Do you go outside and talk to people? No, don't answer that - I know the answer and it will only drag this out. :silenced::lipsrseal0 -

It's a lot simpler than that. There are many sellers on the forum and because selling on eBay is not easy, some of them expect the worst from buyers. It might seem like an unwelcoming environment to new members/eBay buyers who need help with certain problems, but there are many helpful people on the forum.
Anyway, having a thick skin and not taking any criticism personally does help. I don't claim to be an expert on this forum or any other; this is just my opinion.0 -
Toys being thrown out of the pram, this thread's off its trolley:D.0

Thank you Slow Cooker. My point was that there are accusations of people that aren't deserved. I stopped writing on this thread at midnight of the 8th at 7am on the 10th(!) tytgo comments and Soolin at 10 am does as well. We're talking 31 hours after my last post and I am getting 'comments'. Who dragged this out? I am pretty sure Soolin was a participating member of the stir, and she has the audacity to accuse me! I have a perfectly thick skin but in no way will I tolerate an undeserved and hypocritical accusation and I will say it like it is. I am not a push over, nor should anyone else have to be. But the group here seems to fail to see that because it is too incestual on here. I think the OP felt the hypocrisy as well. Someone needs to inject some objectivity and point out the obvious to a bunch of rose (eye roll) tinted spectacled people.
As for the comment on the sellers, I agree with you and if you read my post to QQO - I said there are nicer ways to explain such things to a buyer to help them understand and not turn defensive. And ultimately, the situation could have just been down to inexperienced parties getting it wrong and no malice. I think people need to start from that vein. And for every 5 bad buyers, there's a bad seller. Like the world around us, often one of the offending parties creates the other! I came open to this forum till I experienced it - so think about what you create in someone just seeking advice. Its a 'pay it backward' mentality spurred by people with chips on their shoulders and an ax to grind.
We can start a new thread about how people can be treated a bit better on here - as it is a necessary thread for many - but I suspect that no one will go on that thread, so unfortunately sugar has suffered with her post being the venue for it.0 -

Are you playing those fantasy computer games again?
And why is my sticking up for the OP making her in a bad light? In your bizarre world, I am in a bad light. In the real world off this forum, you are in a bad light. I honestly want to know what logic in your warped ways has her as the bad guy?
She was just the trigger. You all are the guns and I am just a ricochet.0 -
