Local authority milage

Hi I work for a local authority and use my own car to travel to different jobs within the district. We have been told :- 1. if we do any visits on our way to from work we have to deduct our normal milage to work from the claim. an example would be I travel to do my first job which is 4 from home then travel into the office…

I stand corrected. I suppose we can put this in the file alongside the subsidised House of Commons bar where smoking is still permitted, as an example of 'do as I say, not as I do'.

They make the rules to suit themselves, of course. I just wish they wouldn't be so blatant about it.

If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.
