Currently with PlusNet. Best to stick, or are there better offers out there?

Do you need Anytime calls?
I've recently moved to Plusnet and when signing up it only offered Anytime calls (for £5pm) or Weekend Calls (included in the standard package). But subsequently, I've realised I can change this to my preferred Evening & Weekend Calls (for £1.50pm) with no penalty and still receiving the introductory discount etc. In fact you can change between call plans once a month and all done easily online.
I believe Talk Talk, Tesco, Sky? and Primus offer services at a slightly cheaper price (depending exactly what services you want), but I'm really impressed with the service Plusnet are offering at the moment and would be reluctant to move to these other providers who I've heard disappointing feedback about and dislike some of their aggressive marketing.0 -
Thanks, that's handy to know.
We use the phone a lot so I think Anytime calls would soon pay for itself quite quick. Also nice to know there aren't any hidden surprises.0 -
You could try to haggle

I found Plusnet very good but i got a better deal from BT plus £144 cashback and £100 Sainsbury Card.0 -
Thanks. Unfortunately PlusNet won't haggle with me. I guess unlike mobile operators, their costs are set by BT in terms of line rental etc. so there's a limit to how low they'll go.
Also, that deal includes cashback.0 -
I also find BT Smart Talk and Unlimited Wi Fi very handy. Shame that Plusnet dont offer it.0

At the moment BT Smart Talk is offering 60 mins of free calls a month (except 070 and 090 calls) which is great value. So now all my 08 chargeable calls can be made free at any time of day via the app.0

Since broadband is exchange-specific, start with an exchange search on samknows.com for your LLU options-there are no 'universal' deals. No free lunch, and no free laptop

We're with BT and right on the edge of the exchange area making it very slow. I'm thinking we need fibre optic or cable.
Are Plusnet or any of the other providers any good to us, or should I be looking at Virgin?Woopsy0 -
