Thanks for this info. Gonna have a go at this option as my daughter wasn,t sure how to do the google setting.

Just been into settings, can,t seem to find accounts???

Login to to your google account on your PC first and check 'Contacts'. They can be there already.

thanks for this but this is how far I get

settings
lock screen ( one option )
security ( one option )

They are not together but by going into them individually I can,t find what you have stated!!

It's not the Lock Screen / Security you are looking for but the Accounts and sync.

It was just a random picture from the internet showing 'Accounts & sync' besides other items.

Tap 'Accounts and sync', then find your google account under 'Manage accounts'.

Tap it and then tick the box next to 'Sync Contacts'.

Have you checked your google account via PC?
