  • Hi all, I think I'm actually on time this week! I have spent a big £0 this week - didn't have any plans but have been back and forth to my friend's house as her washing machine is broken so that's kept me away from the shops! I also gave up smoking on Sunday so I didn't need money for anything :) long may it continue! Could you put me down for £20 next week too please?

  • hi ..went over by £16.21..saw that holland and barrett had thier 1p sale on stocked up on loads of healthy school lunch snacks, ..next week will be better..
    Thanks for pointing out the sealed pot challenge, i think i plan on taking out £20 a week from the bank then paying what i need out of that and putting the rest in a jar , does that sound good?

    I do that too mummy2threeboys, I set my budget and take that out of the bank then whatever is left on the sat eve gets potted, although if it includes a note I tend to put that towards the next weeks budget, but you do what works for you. :D
