I'm still here, 5 months and heading toward 6. I have saved not far short of £2000.00 which I have saved and also had 2 holidays to Ireland and Italy. Best thing I have done.yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift thats why its called the present

Reporting in to sadly say I smoked while I was on holiday, it was only a week of smoking and am back on the wagon again from today.

Mat_lock glad you have got back on it. It is so hard this stopping smoking. I don't think of it as "giving up"
I still find the hardest time is when I am having a drink !
I was at a party last weekend, attended by over 100 people and not one person went outside for a ciggy which surprised me somewhat. It would appear more people have stopped than ever before.
Keep at it, you will succeedyesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift thats why its called the present

Yeah I know, I kind of knew I was going to especially as when we arrived the sun was shining the cold beer was on tap. Was easier to smoke than to torture myself not doing so.0

Well done everyone so far! :T :j
I'm still stopped!
I have put on a little weight but I haven't succumbed to a ciggy.

I'm still off the wagon
too many parties, festivals and what not going on. I've resubmitted a new quit date of 5th October. That's it again now. No relapsing after that date. 0 -
I had a great time in Spain and was sorely tempted as fags are still cheap but I resisted. 7 months now very happy.yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift thats why its called the present

It's been a while since I have been on this thread due to relapsing a lot of times, however I am back and this is 3 months smoke free for me now!
Feeling a lot better, and my confidence is extremely high as I know I can achieve anything now I have managed to stop smoking
