Is your oven big enough????
I normally only get a 5-8kg one

Still got quite a bit of meat and bits left from pre-Christmas in the freezer, even OH agrees we should be able to go another week at least without a top-up shop - a revelation!
Have been determined to have a greater variety of meals, and eliminate the ones, that are a bit meh or too much of a faff so I've been trawling sits and coming up with a list of new recipes. Have got the soda bread from A Girl called Jack in the oven now so will see how that one goes
Mon - Special Fried Rice with LO chicken, prawns & red pork from freezer
Tues - Mushroom risotto (my first attempt, wish me luck!)
Weds - Honey mustard chicken pasta
Thurs - Chicken & cashew stirfry
Fri - Cheese & ham quesadillas, sticky toffee pudding
Sat - Possible meal out or takeaway with friends
Sun - Veg curry & rice0 -
:rotfl: just, it is only about 5cm from the top of the oven

Thanks Lostinrates! Can I link recipes here? Both of them are just from the BBCgoodfood website - hang on and I'll see if I can find them...
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/5605/falafel-burgers
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1841634/warm-quinoa-salad-with-grilled-halloumi
voila!!
The falafel burgers particularly are super easy and if you keep canned ones in are a very quick store cupboard meal...
And for SKaboo - both of these are veggie (I think! If there's any ref to chicken stock you can always switch to veggie).

DS made falafel at school, and wants to try again for us to try at home (he scoffed it)... Well it looks like we will be without a car for a few days, and there's nothing within walking distance, so we'll be making do with what we have!
M - Roast turkey, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, stuffing, parsnips, gravy
T - LO roast dinner with roast potatoes and gravy
W - Turkey and veg stir fry with noodles
T - Grilled chicken breasts with sweet potato wedges and baked beans
F - Turkey fried rice
S - out for birthday drinks, may pick up some frozen pizza or snacks if we have a car by then
S - out for birthday lunch with family, so soup and sandwiches later on
Lunches will be soup, bagels with cream cheese, baked potatoes with cottage cheese, ham sandwiches.
Breakfasts will be cereal, beans on toast, toast with cream cheese / butter.0
