Well, another good week, actually we've had so many Christmas leftovers and it's been fun trying new ways of using them up :)

The food I bought for 1 day did 5 days of evening meals

Today we are eating at DH Parents, so another meal pushed, I think I am nearly a week up on food this month!

My plan for this week:

Sunday - Roast Chicken, Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and Veg
Monday - Spaghetti Bolognaise with Salad
Tuesday - LO Chicken Korma with Rice
Wednesday - Sausages, Croquettes and Beans
Thursday - LO Spaghetti Bolognaise with Salad
Friday - HM Tuna & Onion Pizza with Wedges and Salad
Saturday - Chicken Jambalaya :)
Sunday - McDonalds (DD1 will be celebrating her 2nd Birthday a day early with a trip to the Cinema and McDonalds)

Good Luck to Everyone this week!
We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!

Hi, thought I would post my meal plan as I love reading everyone else's ideas (and stealing them :rotfl:).

Sunday -pork loin chops, mash and baked beans
Monday - sweet and sour pork with noodles
Tuesday - sausage and bean casserole with mash and broccoli
Wednesday - vegetable lasagne and chips
Thursday - spaghetti bolognaise with garlic bread
Friday - pizza, salad and wedges
Saturday - sausage, bacon and eggs with mushrooms and tomatoes
Sunday - roast pork shoulder with all the trimmings.

My youngest daughter has just become a vegetarian so I cook alternatives for her though once a week I make a meal we can all have together. I have a few different quorn products to use up but would really prefer her to have more unprocessed food but she doesn't like nuts, spices or most pulses!
  • Hey guys, hope everyone is well. Thanks JulieGeorgiana for starting us off again.

    this week is as follows;

sat - lamb hotpot with steamed veg.

sun - roast chicken with all the trimmings and then HM salted caramel cheesecake.

    Mon - Smoked trout salad.

Tue - Sausage and green lentil tray bake with steamed vegetables.

Wed - Roasted vegetable and spinach lasagne with garlic bread and a side salad.

Thur - Chicken pot pie with vegetables

Fri - Cornflake chicken with boiled potatoes and vegetables.

Sat - “Skinny” burgers with quinoa salad

Sun - Roast belly pork, vegetables and mashed potatoes.

    Have a good week guys!

Taking inspiration ( or stealing) is part of the value of sharing them, as well as helping people not used to planning ahead see how others do it.
    :D

Thank for the thread Julie georgiana. Have to admit I haven't thought much about after Monday (sorted till then). Might not post till Monday on that basis. :o

I like ten day plans, but I love the idea of a month plan. I think I'd find it really challenging though.

Easier in winter perhaps, before we're waiting for things from the garden to be ripe. Sometimes in the summer my plans are entirely frustrated by the garden or the sun's refusal to ripen something that looks so nearly ready!
