I have a 4 week plan I rotate, but I have options to chop and change to keep things interesting (ie. if it says spaghetti bolognaise my alternatives will be lasagne and spaghetti and meatballs) and sometimes I just add in a new meal. I find it easy so I don't have to think much, and it takes 5 minutes to check my diary and make sure it works for us
With a baby it's easier to just not think, or we'd eat 'ping meals' most nights! We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like.
