He is certainly a character and whilst I think he is probably awful to deal with he isn't social services and if he wants to sell his own properties he can do so.

Silly old sod, 70yrs old and weighing 20-odd stone, how long does he have left honestly, should have retired 5-10 years ago with a nice few million in the back, hanging on for so long he'll have more than halved his remaining quality lifespan in return for money he won't have a prayer of spending.
