We've only just moved a month ago, we have a charnwood solid fuel fire. We are paying £15 for a 50 kg bag of ovoids. The fire is taking a bit of getting used to, but the last 2 weeks the coal has been delivered soaking wet and it's been a struggle to get / keep the fire going.

Thanks-what does that mean in percentage terms then?

CPL put their prices up in September 2013 at an average of 5%.

That assumes the leaflet they sent in August asking me to buy before it happened, really did happen.

I didn't buy from them this year as i still had a load left over from the previous year and decided to start running that down.
  • Home Bargains have 10kg bags of "coal" to use in smokeless zone areas for £3.99. Suitable for use on multi fuel stoves

When i moved to scotland in 2007, i was using a company called Fergussons. I was paying about £14 a bag. they went up progressively to £17.50 a bag, and i went to a new coalman Archie Kane and Sons @ £15 a bag. i have been using them for 2 years, and i notice Fergussons are now selling the same coal £19.20 a bag.

Kane's coal is far better as well.
Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?
