Morning everyone,
Thanks for the kind wishes re my op. I'm nervousness but sure it will be fine.
Had a lie in this morning. Going to give the house a clean through as usual this morning then need a food shop, the cupboards are bare.
Fancy experimenting tonight I'm a bit bored with our food, might try a different kind of chicken, maybe Jerk for a change.
Dd is off with DGS to a play centre today and then out with friends for lunch before he goes to his dad later and she goes to her bf so should be nice and quiet. DS is off bowling with his gf.
We are on our own most evenings which We love, it's like when we were first married:D
Have had a few good eBay sales, I'm never very successful with amazon but shall keep trying. I want to nip to the library later as well and stock up for my hospital visit and recovery.
Better get a wriggle on. Have a good Saturday xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

honey (hugs) for you and family
NJL looking out of the window at the awful weather outside and reading about your preparations for the coming months in the greenhouse is quite uplifting, as OK we have got a good few weeks of grotty weather ahead but spring will come and the stuff needs getting ready.
I can see the bed that the gardener laid out at the bottom of my garden and the winter pansies are bravely flowering even though everything else looks dead and cold out there. He also put me some wallflowers in around the bed and they too are growing well.In the middle he has plantres about 5 dozen bulbs in differnt heights larges at the back going to smaller ones at the front and I'm looking forward to seeing them all come up in the spring.
He used the base of where my greenhouse used to be and filled it with compost so I will have a really nice splash of colour at the bottom of the garden. He's a lovely chap and is my one treat that I don't find too expensive as he only arrives once a fortnight and he keeps my garden looking really nice as I can no longer manage it myself.
Well the rain is coming down yet again but I have no shopping to go out for.On my list by the kettle is only lemon juice and cling film so nothing important that needs getting wet for.I was going to do a tip run,but I think I will give it a miss today as I am still sneezing and sniffly.I can put the bag of rubbish in the conservatory out of the way until Tuesday when the bin men arrive. The library can wait until it gets drier as well.So today I think I will just have a general tidy round and whizz the vacuum around the sitting room .Then probably stick a pot of soup on to cook as I have a few bendy veg needs using up.Then just relax and do some knitting and t.v. watching I think A nice gentle relaxing day after all the excitement of Christmas and New Year
<<Hugs>> to those who feel down or blue and have a good day the rest of you and try to keep in the warm.
Cheers chums

Morning All
Up and about early today, DD was starting work at 9 so went for the 8am train. I got showered, put washing on and went to Mr A for a few bits and bobs, had to pop to Morr!sons too for something Mr A doesn't stock, they are opposite each other so not so bad and I was home for 9.30.
Sorted the washing that had dried, did the bit of ironing and stripped my bed. I have put it out on the line but it's just hanging there doing nothing. Still, it should smell fresher than being inside.
Made pasta with smoked salmon last night which was really tasty although I think I was a little heavy handed with the chilli! I am thinking baked pots tonight.
Waiting for someone to see a wardrobe I put on Gumtr££, it was left here when we moved in and is far too big. Hopefully it will be sold. Going to clear up some fallen bits of tree as it's dry, the recycling bin gets emptied tomorrow.
Honey - Thinking of you today.
HH - Don't overdo it.
Julie - Good luck for Monday, hope it goes well.
Hugs to those feeling under the weather, hope you are all surviving the floods, think we should all build arks for this year!
Take care. XX0 -
Good morning everyone.
Had a dreadful nights sleep last night. Husband is ill. He eventually got up just after 5 so I slept till just gone 9. No idea what position I slept in as my back is killing me. Husband can sleep downstairs tonight!
So I've done nothing so far today. I will finish this coffee, get dressed & get on.
The weather is dreadful here so none of us are leaving the house. I hope everyone is safe. The seafront was closed off during the worst of the storms near me.
Went to my sisters yesterday to exchange Christmas presents. She got me a Morten Harket pillow, knickers (!) & eye mask! As well as some soap & glory stuff. I luff her!
I need to sort out my smellies. I still have left overs from last Xmas & I got loads this year. I think the only smellies I will nead to buy this year will be hand cream, face cream & deodorant. Oh and shampoo/conditioner.
Making veggie curry for tea as am not leaving the house today. Plus I need to stop popping to the shops for one thing & coming out £20 lighter. I've joined the grocery challenge & have £300 from jan 1st-22nd. That's for 5 of us.
Right, small child needs me.
Have a good day all, stay safe.
Love, hugs & spoons

Morning all,
Wet again here ! meant to be like this all weekend getting fed up with it now, the stain on the bedroom ceiling is getting bigger despite us having the de-humidifier on all day, we are waiting for a good day for OH to get on the roof to fix it.
Not sure what we are up to today might try and get a bit of painting done, chicken casserole from yesterday for dinner OH and DD had a big lunch so did not want a big dinner, I had boiled eggs for my tea, which were lovely.
Honey hope all goes well today, we lost my dad last year and we are not ready to part with the ashes yet xx
Julie good luck for your op !
Have good days all xx0 -
Good afternoon everyone
Wet here again, very windy in the night but that seems to have calmed down for the time being.
Trying to sort out everything for starting new job on Monday and read though some documents and emails. I think I am going to be very busy for the first few weeks but that really suits me down to the ground.
DH is sorting out clothes for being back at work and is getting ready to start ironing. He really is the world's best husband .... and not just because he does all the ironing! He puts up with me and he is my rock :smileyhea
Need to get beds stripped and get the next lot of washing sorted. Next job is then to make an inventory of the freezer and do a meal plan for next week.
Honey - I hope all goes well today and you have lots of very happy memories to talk about.

Good Afternoon all,
Honey - hope it goes well today x
Popped to Aldi this morning for a couple of bits and veg etc. DH and I then took a look at the caravan, which is in a compound, to make sure it was ok and to change the absorbent granules thingys. I'm glad we put a protective cover over it in the winter with all the rain we have had.
DH finally got the right bits for his van and it's now back on the road.
Now he just needs some fine weather to do his work!
Not sure what to have for tea, but reading JackieO's bendy veg souphas given me an idea for my bendy veg.
Have a good day all.0 -

Haven't done much since I got back from my walk always a danger when I park my butt on the sofa it takes a Herculean effort to move
Might potter in the kitchen, make some cheese straws for kids lunches next week.
Haven't decided about tea, I fancy some pasta and garlic bread

Afternoon:D
Not had chance to get on this morning. Noah at his dads till tomorrow and Asher fell back to sleep after her bottle at 7... So me and DH made the most of it:p
Been batch cooking since then. Tomato and basil sauce for freezer for Asher, veg samosas for freezer for Asher, big vat of lentil bolognese for family meals, mini choc muffins and flapjacks for tins and a meatloaf in oven now ready to be portioned up.
I have a ranch chicken in slow cooker for later which we will have with jacket potatoes and sour cream with chop salad. Will use leftover chicken for a risotto tomorrow.
This afternoon DH is sorting tax paperwork ready to take to his accountant tomorrow.
I will be playing with Asher, doing my lists and meal planning from new cookbooks.
DH and I planning to snuggle and watch a film later.
I have also found a food and health site with printables so will do some of that to illustrate to Noah visually how much he needs to eat etc. Still having major mental health and anger issues but we will get there!;):o
Right off for cup of strong tea and chill for 5 mins.
Thinking of you Honey on a difficult day x0
