I'm currently on £39/80 for the month. Not too bad, but pennies are feeling a little tight, and I'm thinking I may need to borrow from my food budget and try to survive on what's in the cupboard/freezer.

I'm away this weekend, and have at least 7 meals in the freezer that I can eat with just rice (I have lots and lots of rice just now). I also have lots of lentils to make lentil soup, so could probably make it to the end of the month ok with only buying a bag of carrots, a loaf of bread and some apples for my lunch box. Although I'll probably buy just a few more bits than that.

I've not managed to get on for a few days - I have quite a bit of catching up reading to do! Last week's shop totalled £58:11 - so I'm still on target for this month. :D

Still on target at the minute but after a cruddy night I would love to just say 'f*** every budget and trying to save some money' and go and buy all sorts of cakes, sweets, rubbish...I won't though. Instead I will busy myself around the house and give in to bf's huff...hmph wish I could bring myself to just go out and spend £100 on not much...maybe after baby has arrived and I'm back to my 'normal'/pre-baby size I will go out and buy myself a new dress and shoes and handbag ...anyway sorry back to the GC!

Planning a NSD today and then a trip to the market tomorrow. Will need to get cereal bars at some point for bf but I'm putting it off at the minute

Some tasty food pictures keep appearing on!!
Had a NSD on 18th :D I am essentially on my April grocery budget now, as I am running pay day to pay day (15th), but wasn't sure where to post my spends for it yet, so adding here.
Been shopping this morning, £25.64 Ald* and £13.44 Morri***s
Wouldn't of spent AS much in Mozza's but they currently have 1/2 price on Nutrigrain elvensenses, making them £1.24 so brought 6 boxes!! Offer is on until 30th March if anyone else is looking!!
I am at £39.08 and just need to do a trip to the butchers later today. Will update my sig once I have been there.
