We were supposed to be having spag Bol tonight. Got it out of the freezer this morning, I have just looked at it and realised that it is sausage casserole! Oops! Will have to get better at labelling my batch cooking as it is difficult to work it out when they are frozen!
That made me laugh cos this happens to me on a regular basis... LOL LOLSell £750.00

A £10.75 spent in Sains today means we are over our £40 for this week again! However should be £1.35 to come back in cash back and the milk we bought will last us all of next week. Will need to buy bread either tomorrow or Saturday but no other spending planned until Tuesday.GC: £40 a week. Sticking to my budget, but never remembering to post in the relevant thread.
Probably buying toiletries that I don't need, as I can't resist a "bargain."

Have done my main weekly shop this morning and pleased that I managed to get almost everything on my list for £31.01. The only thing I couldn't get was gram flour but decided it wasn't that important and I can make do with cornflour for the time being.
Will need to pop out at the weekend and buy some fresh fruit but have enough for a couple of days so decided it was worth waiting until then even though it means I won't get an expected NSD on Saturday.
Only have one more big shop to do this month plus a couple of small top up shops so hoping I'll be within budget this month.

Afternoon!!
A few posts back someone (sorry, cant remember who!!) mentioned Sains milk price being down to £1. It may be old news but Tesco has done it too (instead of being "obliged" to buy 3 for £3).
Milk is all I need today, and that is all I am going to get! Going to the shop after work and I will bring only £2 in coins with me.
I will add it to the sig already so it is set in stone!!

A spend of £13 today on bread flour, plain flour and chorizo, chicken breasts and limes to make some fajitas.
We don't normally buy chicken breasts due to the price but I don't have time to cut up drumsticks or thighs. My husband has asked me to make it as it is his favourite and it is so rare we have it
That leaves me £49.25 to last the week, but I still need to spend again later tonight.
I should just scrape it though£36/£240

Went to mr A's with DD1... £45 later we came out.
TBF DD1 did pay £20 towards it as she's very health conscious at the moment and likes to buy some stuff herself -so I actually only spent £25. Question is, should I only count the £25 or should I declare £45?

You're only £25 down, so if I were you I'd only count that against my grocery budget. When DS1 asks me to pick some bits up for him (as he did on Monday) he pays me back, so that's not part of my grocery spend and doesn't come off my budget as it's not stuff I chose to purchase.Cheryl0

Thank you.I shall change my signature now and add on the £25 spend.
