Wow been out the loop for a few days and already on page 25. Sign me up again for £120 have to restock the cupboards and freezer. Now off to do some catch up reading. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Spent more than I thought I'd need to as needed to stock up on tins as not many left in cupboard. Mr Ms have Branston beans at 4 for £1.19 if anyone likes these - they are definitely our favourite so I bought 8 tins today.
Spent a total of £29.72 today - £5.42 in Mr Ms; £5.71 in Ald! and £18.59 in Mr Ts (need to amend signature as I added on £30.10 - no idea how I added it up to that!)
DD is going to make some cookies this evening and I've bought some blueberries to make some muffins, but I'll leave those until tomorrow.
Hopefully that means I shouldn't need too much later in the week!

Hi all,
Budgets updated to here
Popped to town for some stationery and had to dive into !celand due to a sudden downpour. Got milk, cucumber, cheese dunkers for packed lunches, carex, shampoo and deo. Forgot juice cartons and butter
Carex, shampoo and deo will come out of 2nd purse, so only £4.65 from GC budget. Will try C**p later when on school run for the bits I forgot.

Some Coriander if you have some (i always throw in a bit of frozen)
If you have a blender or a FP ... Whizz it up ... Otherwise, chop and crush accordingly
Maybe not in time for this time .. but it only costs 50p for around 300g .. and it freezes too

Thanks. Did Google the recipe and admit it's super easy; but just worried it will be too "runny" with all the liquid type ingredients.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £134.25/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Does anyone here do a "monthly" meal plan instead of a weekly? Currently trying to lose weight so have just done a rolling two weeks for this month so hoping we dont get bored ect!
I do a monthly shop with just top ups throughout the month if needed. I use an excel spreadsheet to make it easier. I start by noting down the date, day and then meal. I then make my shopping list from there. I then print it off and put it on the fridge so DH knows what we are having that day. I get my shopping delivered from Mr T so once it arrives most of it especially the meat gets divided up into portions and goes straight in the freezer. I have found that I spend less this way. Just updating my total which shows what I have left not what I've spent! Feeling miserable with a cold so catching up on here with a hot water bottle on my knee. I just cant warm up today."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

Just been to Aldi and spent £49 but £9 of that was for the Food Bank so not quite as bad as it seems.
Haven't been meal planning so ended up buying a few random bits I probably don't strictly need but hopefully it'll last me a while. Have remembered we're probably away for 5 days over 1/2 term at my parents so I 'might' be able to save a bit then!!Feb 14 GC - £89.37/£3000
