Have just read back over the past few days worth of posts and I think I've been inspired to go away and plan our meals. After all I did write out a inventory of what we've got in every food cupboard and freezer! Watch this space!!

  • Random question here......

Why do people not write the names of the stores properly?
    Aldo? Sainsbugs? L!dl etc.
    It intrigues me.....

I assumed the names were due to not promoting the supermarkets. If someone types the name in to the search engine, these threads would pop up and perhaps give advertising, - but that's just a guess

I am really worried about my spends this month :(

I have less than £7 a day between now and pay day and I don't feel like I have a lot of stuff in either.

    NSD again.
I have a sore mouth after dental treatment today so we had an egg fried rice meal with added gammon.

Another NSD today at least out of the GB. Did spend out of gifts budget though as needed a birthday present.

Tea tonight was just a pork chop with some el cheapo pkt noodles with some added mushrooms and onions added. DH had the rest of the rice pudding after.

OH gave me £10 to get the fish and chips with this evening but it came to £10.70. I had a little change in my personal spends so used that to top up rather than the grocery money so that I could claim a very dubious NSD. (but he would have given me the 70p if I had asked)
Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot.
  • Didn't manage the NSD I was expecting today. Feeling pretty rubbish so needed some painkillers and lemons (to make my poorly lemon and ginger drink) bought some ham for packed lunches and leek for leek and poitatoe soup which I would have needed to get in the next couple of days anyway.

Really enjoyed our dinner which was a chicken stir fry and made enough that we now have two portions in the freezer which will feel like getting a take away at some point in the future :T
