Spent £61.00 in sainsburys on Monday night bringing me very close to the wire budget wise this month and I still have 2 more shops to go. Not sure I'm going to do it within budget which is annoying as I thought I would do it easy this month. I've had a good look through the freezer to see what i've got and see how little I can manage on for the next couple of weeks. Mad at myself right now :mad:0

Had a trip to Morrys today in a nearby town and spent £14.80 this included some steak which we had for tea tonight and also some pork loin chops which are in the freezer, some bread, and a few other items. Monthly budget now standing at £86.32 so still on target.
Didn't get time to post last night and we had stir fry for tea, have managed to freeze one portion which will do for a lunch one day.
Am leaving main shopping until Friday this week as will go after taking mum for a blood test. Hope everyone is well and looking forwards to some warmer weather - well we can but hope.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
TTD is taste the difference range
YS is yellow stickered, the reduced to clear items in the supermarket
I am currently at £270 when I was hoping for £200:(. I started a new role at work this month and it has thrown my meal plans and shopping into disarray. A big chunk of this has been on takeaways which has to stop. 13 hour days and Chinese are not a good mix energy wise.
My March starts on Friday and I will do a shop at aldeee on Friday after DH have sat down and sorted out what we are going to eat and what he can help cook when I get in late. Will dig out some slow cooker recipes.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

Another NSD again for me. We had the last of the Christmas gammon from the freezer for tea tonight with oven chips and baked tomatoes. I think I may start on March on our meal plan as we are away for a long weekend 28 Feb - 3 Mar so it will be ready for when we get back.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Inspired by Kayester I am having a Chinese Banquet tonight, chicken fried rice, pork wontons, shrimp spring rolls, beef and veg stir fry and prawn crackers.
Would it be possible to freeze the leftovers? Not too worried about the rice, as this will disappear for lunch Friday, but would be a shame to waste some of the rest.
DH is currently weeding/attacking the herb garden. As he is not very familiar with some of the more obscure herbs in there, it is a bit worrying, he has the philosophy that if he can't identify it, then it must be a weed, and will be DESTROYED.
Another very hot day today, its 10am and already 27 degrees.0 -
Spends in mr s and bnm. Real lack of ys at the mo I think. X0
