  • Thanks guys :)

Well weather wise, last night we had lots of gusty winds overnight but the evening wasn't too bad. I had a lovely ride on the big girl which was totally unplanned as I'd felt rubbish the later we got into the day. DH and DD also weren't 100% so I'm wondering if it was something we ate. DD had early night and DH picked up quickly. After I'd rode, I felt 100% again so whatever it was we managed to shake off. Riding is the cure for many things I find :)

Today is my horse free day, as it's my long day at work, so my partner in crime does them for me.

I've not had chance to check my accounts yet but plenty of time for that. A busy day already work wise and will continue to be. Nothing back re the extra work yet, early days tho.

Ooh I meant to say - I entered my metre readings at the weekend to find I was £12 in credit. I pay what I owe every quarter so I shouldn't be in debit or credit. Anyway, the government have issued electricity accounts with £12 to help with rising cost fuel I'm told. Either way, thank you! So when I pay my bill, I shall pay £12 over to the CCV instead as I've got the money saved for the bill. Rather pleased with that.

I think that's it for now. I have my lists and am keeping on top of home and work, I know it's only Tuesday but so far, so good!

    Take Care.

  • Goodness me, it's payday on Friday!!! Wow that was super quick.....

OK so that means I can and have, made an overpayment of £8.56 to CCV. Hoping to get np0wer bill through before then so I can double check and make sure I have that £12 I referenced above, spare to send over to CCV.

    I actually enjoy this :o

The day is almost done, the night has yet to start. I've got a couple of hours to get done tonight so just about to make a list of things I need to do. It's been a very productive day so I'm pleased with that. I've sent off all of my emails which I'd promised people information in and created lots of requests for my next workload so as soon as they are returned I can get on with that.

I have a bl00min spot just above my top and it's so painful - I feel like a teenager again. Annoyingly I can't stop touching it - sorry to over share!

Sausage casserole is in for tea, I'll put mash and peas with it and that will be yum. I'm very ready for it. Then kids in bath whilst I hoover round and put ironing away. I'll have a quick shower then back into a meeting at 8.

I've just looked at my signature and realised I have done terribly with swagbucks this month, so next month I will see how I can get on with that. I made £15 on ebay which has gone to CCV already.

I'll try and do some surveys tonight.

Sausage casserole was gorgeous if I do say so myself!

I am so cold tonight. Going to grab a hot milk and hope it warms me through. Meetings are done for this evening but I hae a few things to get done before I finish.

Had a shower and washed my hair earlier (mammoth task as hair is long) and allowed myself some day dreaming time. It will all be worth the effort in the end!

    Good Morning lovely people

I hope everyone is well. I have slept dreadfully this week and did not want to get out of bed this morning at all.

Having a bit of a nightmare with the friend in need. I really don't want to get involved with what's turning into a nasty break up but I also can't see her doing what she is doing to herself. However she's now taken to calling and texting my DH (who she knows anyway, we were all friends, he knows her now ex etc). The texts are ok, he is telling me about them and there's nothing untoward in them but strangely enough - a different lady who doesn't know any of these people warned me not to let the friend in need latch on to my DH. So now I feel a bit sick about the whole thing and guilty for thinking she might latch on to him. I trust him implicitly. I really don't do situations like this, I like my simple life.

Anyway in worky news I have a list to do today, it's proving a fab way for me to work and stay focused, both for work and home actually. I need to fire off an email before anything then start writing a report for my latest audit. I can run some data gathering in the background whilst running the report too.

So the number at the top of this entry is how many days I currently stand at until my last payment. This is 6 months earlier than the contractual date with the loan company and I'm hoping to bring it closer but time will tell.

Quick update for Gas & Elec.

From 4th July to 19th October it's cost me £239. This is fantastic as this time last year it was around the £400 mark. I'm budgetting £100 a month so have £400 when Friday comes rounf. £100 of that I needed for an emergency in July which was just as I was getting into the swing of things. So I have £300 to pay this bill. Therefore I think I will use £12 that the government put in the electricity account and split the difference of the remainder to CCV and winter fuel.

Wahoooo, I have been offered a place so I now have the opportunity of earning more cash. Fabulous! Sooo pleased.

I've sent all of the docs back to them as required and will catch up with their other documents tonight. Fingers crossed it works out and that it reduces my debt quickly!
