Good Morning :)

I slept quite well for a change last night but I did notice when DH got up to go to his last day at work that it was darker on a morning at that time (5 something!) We're definitely starting to see small shifts to Autumn. The leaves have been blowing off the trees for a while now but with this wind and cooler days I am starting to give Autumn thoughts some consideration. I love watching the seasons change.

Today's the last day of "doing nothing" - not that we ever do nothing, as we're leaving tomorrow for night away. Looking forward to the mini adventure even if we're back on Friday lol.

So today will see me doing some boring but needed jobs such as finishing all the washing and iron what's really needed, pack for night away - wear ge0 clothes to travel in as we're doing a ge0 on the way, wash hair ready to meet Mam at lunch time then probably head to yard and get some jobs done then bring the horses in (will ride tonight when DH has DS as I can't ride when I have DS with me).

I also need to put the SC on this morning as the meat I got out was SC beef so we'll have that tonight - I also want to attempt to make that quiche I mentioned.

Money wise I've managed to over pay the £12.50 I won on the lottery and £5 from swags so I'm £7.50 over my set target of £10 which is great. I've still got ebay to add onto that too.

    Enjoy your day everyone.

  • Morning, well done with making the extra pennies and throwing at your debt.

I hope you have a lovely couple of days away and that the eather stays nice for you.

I with you on the seasons changing, I'm starting to think about it getting cooler and cooking more autumnal dishes, shopping bill seems to be less in the cooler months as we seem to eat more HM soups, usually whatever veg ald1 have on offer.

    Take care.x.

Having 5 minutes - SC is on with beef stew. I didn't make a quiche in the end. I'm going to make a couple of salads up for us with sarnies for the kids which will see us through lunch tomorrow.

I've got a few more surveys done tho it'll be a while for the bigger payouts however £5 was great this morning from swags. Viewsb@nk is somewhere in transition too.

Let's kick the @$$ of this debt!

Morning diary land from a thoroughly refreshed DF :)

Thanks for dropping my pwps. I decided seen as though I was having 2 weeks off work, I'd stay away from the computer too after the first few days and I did just that. I actually feel like I've had 2 weeks off and I feel great (except for going back to work today!)

Today I'm actually working from home from 2-10 so that's not too bad, back in the office tomorrow.

So in these last 2 weeks we've had some LOVELY days out, great times, great food and drink, fond memories and lots of pause for thought.

I'm rearing to go with the debt busting and more determined than ever!!! The rest of the year's going to be busy for me but that's good. Firstly I have an exam (hard!) for work, in October then personal I have te BHS exam in November. In between that is a very busy few months at work and of course Christmas preps and that's all in between paying off debt, running a house, looking after and enjoying kids, horses, dog etc etc. Oh and I've started a blog! Next time off will probably be October half term but not thinking about that yet.

So plan for next day or 2 is to check accounts and get everything up to date, note spends and any overspends. Make overpayments where possible and get some food ideas for teas this week that save me when I get in from work. I am also trying to get some order to staying organised in the house. Right, quick catch up on diaries then off to it. Back in action!

Welcome back to the world of reality!

Logged into work to find out someone in my team's resigned (we are 2 down anyway and the other one is new!) so we're going to struggle big time and it's going to land on me. I've advised my manager that if they restructure the team I want to be lead position as there's only me there who has any experience etc and it might mean more money. The money won't happen until next year but I'm preparing now. Strike whilst the iron's hot.

I've had a quick check of my accounts and everything's fine - will tally up tomorrrow and get new totals after payments made. No time today.

Long night ahead of me, video conference until 10pm. Will take a break during to cook tea and put the kids to bed. I bet I can't sleep until after 11 as I'll be wired!

In addition to the £11.92, I've also got 61.49 to throw at it from ebay which includes £5 survey. That's in addition to the £91.67 minimum payment I will pay. Really pleased with that.

£6.18 is still outstanding from viewbank so that should come during this month's pay.
£30 from quidco was declined which I have challenged - #robbinbarstewards.

Looking ahead I've got a £16 bid on ebay plus a few smaller bids however that £16 needs to buy some clothes for winter for kids. DS needs a new onsie (he is growing far too quick and has the coldest room in the house bless him) and they both need new winter boots - now I know £16 won't buy all of that but it will help :)
