  • Morning debtfree, weather here is overcast and it's thrown a couple of showers, i think you have it worse down south than us up in lancashire.

Well done on the ebay sale, my DD needs new jods, nightmare to find for her as she is tall and has really long legs, so any that fit her in the leg are huge on the waist or fit on the waist and are half way up her legs.

    Enjoy your 2 weeks off.x.

    Morning lovely diary people :)

I'm up North pwps -north east however the weather was dreadful pretty much all day. We had an hour's break later on but still got wet lol.

LAM - That's why I like my big girl in as it was windy too which chills her to the bone, she's not getting younger and I don't want her coming down with something. The TB in her isn't too fond of rain and wet whereas the little one (section A) is positively stupid in it.

Yesterday saw us swimming as planned and the kids loved it, it was packed out tho. Washed DD hair there as she moans when I do it anyway and saved doing it at home! MSE, tight or just obvious? Lol.

Came home and family came over for hour and half whilst it continued to bucket down then popped pork on and we went to the yard. Had nice hour plus there (only 1 to do yesterday) and came home and made a delicious (if I do say so myself!) Sunday lunch. Hit the spot after long and wet day.

I have 3 days now before we go away so I'm trying to get organised and have fun with the kids etc. I've told them they can watch tv until 9 and then it's ready and outside. I hate them sitting in when they can be out exploring and enjoying nature. We're going to some free play areas and beach (weather pending) and parks etc over the 3 days then we're off away for 2 days.

    Today's list then
    Keep washer going
Dry clothes in this crazy wind
    Quick hoover - dog's moulting
    Pack up ebay parcels
    Send ebay parcels
Work out how much made off ebay
    Check paypal and quidco
Order jumper for DS for xmas

There's more but this is more of a reminder than have to do - no pressure when off :D Right best get dressed or I'll be crying for sitting on sofa all day!

  • Hi Debtfree, weather got wild with us late yesterday afternoon, drive is now covered in leaves and branches, first thing DD wanted to do last night when she got home was go and check her pony, so poor DH took her in the pouring rain and apparently although pony has a lovely warm stable to go shelter in it was stood in the middle of the paddock whilst it was blowing a hoolie, but it is a section c so probably felt at home in the weather.

Hope you have a lovely day with the kiddies.

I bet you cant wait for your holiday.

Love the comment about drying washing in this wind - hopefully it will actually stay on the line lol.

Isn't that typical of the ponies lol. I think ours can stay out tonight and I'll bring him in to get his teeth done in the morning but I'll bring the big girl in for a break.
Well the washing stayed on the line - just!! I did enjoy watching it blow :) Think how much np0w£r would have charged me to dry that in my machine! ;)

I've been to the post office and sent everything I needed to - I think I underestimated one items postage but was ok on the rest so it should balance out. I'll transfer the postage costs from paypal and then see what I owe ebay, get that paid and the remainder will go to the debt.
I've got the next lot of items ready to be listed but going to wait until Sunday as I was told that's the best time to end a listing, or I could do 10 days maybe.
Going to make some leek and potato soup for DS at his request so he can have that for tea. I'll get the slow cooker back out and during my time off I think as when the kids go back it'll be approaching Autumn and will be wanting hot meals again.
We're going to do a coal run for the wood/coal burner to start the winter preps - we thought about it before but didn't get round to it.
As we were £40 under budget for gas and electric last month (I put the same amount away even if we use less) I will get £40 worth.
Got a few onep0ll surveys in today so will get on with those now before we go. Then tea and yard. I think I'll ride inside in this wind!!!

DS's jumper not ordered as it's gone back up in price - will wait for it to come down again. Everything else done and dusted.

    Afternoon lovely diary landers.

Both horses had their nashers done today and they were both fabulous and didn't need sedating (she's a vet too) so I was really pleased as less expense although I'm still £90 lighter. :o They are both in the field with tonight off.

Paypal finally came through with swags payment so will send that to CCV in a moment. I am still waiting for ebay to invoice me for recent sales before bringing the rest over as I'm worried I send it to CCV then get hit with a big invoice. It's all on 0% so there's no rush, a few days won't make a difference.

We've spent this afternoon ge0cach1ng again and really enjoyed it. I love being out in the fresh air with the kids and DH just doing what we're "supposed" to do rather than be cooped up inside all day.

DH is kindly bringing a takeaway home (out of his money (he doesn't know about my situation for any who don't know)) so that's tea sorted tonight meaning the meat I'd defrosted can go in the SC for tomorrow night. It's already feeling a bit chillier here so a stew will be fine for tea unless the heat returns and I'll freeze it if no one fancies it.

Thurs and Fri we're away so I'm packing a packed lunch for Thurs, we'll eat out on the night and then eat at the place Fri. Breakfast is included at the Prem 1nn we're staying at and I've already paid for that.

I'm off to do a survey or 2 now and will do as many as can tomorrow as none will be done T/F when I'm away.

I think I'll make a quiche with the chucks eggs - will look online for some tasty easy recipes.

    Take care all.
