• Hmm dilemma again. A good dilemma I think tho.
Barclays are trying to offer me a loan - yes in itself that's bad. The fact I'm credible again is good :) Even so, it's at a better rate than the 2 loans I have (one taken out recently, only made 2 payments so far)...It means I could save £100 a month OR if I up the payments I would have it paid off in 36 months.

Now the latter is very tempting but i don't think I can afford the extra payments.....more food for thought.
Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

Loan 1 £1787
Loan 2 £1683

• Right, quick update on ebay sales - I can overpay another £19.96 after sellers fees and postage so I shall round it up to £20 as I'm feeling generous LOL.

• Payment made.
I'm still waiting for vi£wsbank to credit - feels like a lifetime! Also last week's £5 from sw@gs should hit soon. I am hoping that having no phone (I do quite a few via phone when on breaks) won't have a negative impact. I will make extra effort to ensure I hit target this week.
Right, that's the financial things sorted for today.

• Managed to get an old phone of mine, the screen is cracked but tough. Also managed to get a sim adapter to take my phone's sim and it's all working. Great stuff. All free too. I'm checking with the manufacturer about the screen, hoping to get it fixed under warranty but we shall see.

My other friend (#2 of who knows about my situ) has told me to move the loans asap as if I am saving £100 a month then I need that in my pocket. I'm just nervous as I've only just opened the loan that paid off my CC's. That will of course get closed but I don't like playing about with them.

• Morning diary landers

So busy today but I do work my best under some pressure so that's not a bad thing.

Made jam last night - disaster. I've posted on OS boards for help :o Made a cake too - lovely :T Bith with foraged blackberries using ingredients I had in too.

I've got £6.14 finally through from vi£wsbank after a few emails back and forward so that will be paid this morning - I also need to see if swags has come through as my records show it should today (sad, I keep a spreadsheet).

I did a few surveys this morning but they were very thin on the ground. I need to get some decent ones from swags to meet the target this week.

Sausage something for tea - think I'll shove them in the slow cooker at lunch time with some tinned tomatoes and gravy - bit of a casserole going on. Then will mash some potatoes and serve with....erm, something...or maybe just mash tonight.

Quick update to keep me organised.

Sausages are in the slow cooker with onion gravy and a tin of tinned toms. I'll do some mash and that will do, I don't think I have any greens. Need to grow some!

Random question - does anyone know how old the muck heap needs to be before it's classed as well rotted for veggies?

Car tax purchased from savings so hasn't impacted this month's budget. Shame I will need it aqain in 6 months. The plan's to have it all saved a year in advance when this debt's gone. All uniform for school too - didn't need to hit the normal pot :)

Managed to get a couple more onep0ll surveys done tho long way to go until that's ready to take out. Nothing doing on sw@gs tho.

Not sure if I mentioned, a farm came up for sale that is exactly what I would buy when DF - in budget, perfect location (we have a very limited amount of places we'd like to live and this is the one at #1) and everything we're after. So hard for me not to go there and mention it but with my debt we won't get the mortgage. In a strange way, it's aiding my focus (which is already on the ball!)

Coming up in October I have an exam for work (will look good on CV too if I pass) and should put me in a great position for a rise again. Someone's just left the team dropping us in it and I will be doing their work, so those 2 things combined (I'm hoping) will call for a decent rise meaning a closer DFD. Nothing like the desire to keep you focused.

Today is a long day at work where I will be 'clocking off' around 10 so it's good to take 5 out on here to bring my brain back into focus.

• I think it's officially six months, but I just chuck mine on as soon as it stops looking fresh! The two issues are a) ammonia burning the veggies and b) e-coli bacteria, it's the latter that takes the time to disperse, I think.
• Thanks Caz.....that means I need to venture to the BIG muck heap where no one goes lol
