A good night so far - horses are happy with their night off and school went ok. I say ok as it's the teacher I was dreading but nothing I can do about it.
Just about to do tonight's NSJ then work.

Happy New Week diary land :)

Well what a weekend. No big spends financially - bit of a splurge on an impromptu BBQ but such is life and we need to have one (a life!). Managed to declutter outside space with what felt like hundreds of trips to the tip. It was worth it though. Also bought some plants to brighten up the new space (had vouchers, didn't cost me anything). Managed to get all the washing done and mostly put away - some ironing left to do "sometime".

So all in all things are going well. Seriously busy at work still, will continue for a couple of weeks yet but makes the days go quickly.

Future money wise, I've worked out that once I am DF I can easily save my outgoings each month so that in 6 months I will have 6 months worth of outgoings saved so we'd be ok for 6 months if I was out of work. This is 4 years away I know but I like to plan!

Also I have started researching estate agents costs and the costs associated with moving so I can try and get that saved so when I am DF the ball can move very quickly to get us the next place, new business and new life. I will have done all my waiting around by then :)

I want to do some more calculations for the livery but that will have to wait. Eg I need to know that I have to have x number of stables full all year round to be able to live off the business. Everyone thinks Livery yard owners are rich but that's not the case. Also I'm working to my Instructor exam to allow me to teach my passion instead of work in an office - the only issue being it's 50% less pay thereabouts. That's with having frequent teaching available too. All food for thought.

Right - no lunch today as forgot it - not buying anything tho (have no money with me thankfully!) so will stave myself over on tea and coffee.

I've got one or 2 items I could put on ebay so going to get that done this week - can be a NSJ and hope for it to bring in a few pennies.

Also I have some Euro's from the holiday left so will exchange them to sterling and use for groceries. Might get that done tonight as need to go tonight.

OK so I have £90 in my current account and I won't need all of that before Wed so I am going to put £15 in savings and pay £15 to CCV. that still leaves £60 "in case something happens."

Oh and also I cancelled my OD on Friday and it feels great :) Yes it's on a 0% card but the fact that it's gone is fab feeling. It's making me very concious of what I am spending.

Swagbucks is 40 now - terrible! Every survey I ask for I am "not eligible" onwards tho

Right £15 paid to CCV - statement not due until the next couple of days so I may have saved myself a few pennies interest.

£15 to savings too (that's not long term savings - it's savings for gas and electric type bills which I put away £100 a month to so it's nice to put a bit more in, in case the bills are big, the spare savings will roll over, if there are any!)

Also I put £10 into my sealed jar - I have no idea how much is in there but I like not knowing as that's my treat jar for however many years time!

    Feeling excited!

I have an old mobile to sell - apparently I will get £18 on a recycle site - better than nothing. Will send straight to CCV when I get it.

Also expecting £30 from Quidco fro npower sign up but of course they are dragging their heels!

Well done, that's a big step forwards. I felt a bit naked without mine for a while but I got used to it eventually.
