Oh hooray! It's always good when husbands get more involved, they stop complaining quite so much about the amount of time and money the horses take up ;)

I've been updating a previous post with all June's spends. I'm going to Ald1 far too much but only spending ~£10 each time. It's literally round the corner so not spending more on fuel than normal for it either.

I've managed to pay N£xt's installment which was £88 made up from £20 savings, £40 other savings and £20 scraped from budget. I know I am still £8 short.

I owe the farrier £20 still so as soon as DH gives my what he owes me I will pay the farrier - in one and out the other. Also I need to replace £40 into DS's money pot (bad mother).

That's it then, back on track. :T

We're both off tomorrow together so I plan on getting back into a normal routine next week with regards to lunches, housework etc.

OK so looking at accounts (as they've been neglected whilst busy) - if all goes to budget this month I should have £68 left. I'll allocate £8 to Next leaving £60 (I'm still good at Maths!) and split the remainder. Half to overpaying SLC and half to Christmas fund. I'm concious of Christmas (already) as I don't want to struggle. There's certain items I can buy now, some will have to wait until nearer time for guarentees/BBD/retun options etc.

Looks like I can do the same next month meaning will overpay £55 to SLC and £30 to xmas both months. That's healthy.

I should be able to save £300 by Xmas (just shy of but I will make it up somehow) so DH will match that. Means I need to allocate that out between my large family and save separately for DH's gift. I feel a list coming on.

Right - I've taken my metre readings and for 94 days I owe £136.58 for gas and £152.21 for electricity. I have £300 in the account saved so that just covers it. My worry now is that £100 a month won't be enough from September/October time. I'm forecasting I will need £160 saved a month.

At least you know about it in advance and have a chance to do something about it - that's a good thing :)
