OP's MHDirect seem to be having problems as do many of these cheaper resellers, looking at their website message.....
*************************SORRY NO MORE BOOKING CAN BE TAKEN AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME, DUE TO A INFECTED SYSTEM, WE HOPE TO GET THE SITE BACK UP AND RUNNING IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS, PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE********************************
That's a nice part of the service through https://www.senditquicker.com - you just email the addresses instead of having to fill in a web form (after paying through eBay, and earning an automatic good feedback for yourself while keeping them accountable in striving for your feedback about them).0 -
I use a company called postmehappy.com and I'm more than happy with them
They do UK24 delivery for £10.99 and UK48 for £9.99 via parcelforce.
However, we don't wanna pay that! So we won't. I was issued with a discount voucher and I feel it's only right to pass it on
Then we can reduce those prices to £9.50 and £8.50 respectively.
It seems the discount is applied on sign-up and it looks to be permanent. So if you sign up use 'qyw23' where it says 'Promotional Code'.
Or you can just use this link and it'll pre-populate that part of the form for you (yes I'm a geek).

We certainly don't want to pay the reduced prices either.
I'm sure you had good intentions when you posted ,but this is still hugely more expensive than some Ebay sellers like payperdrop who charge £5.99
Others are even cheaper.
You lost me0 -
It is true they are more expensive, and I'll probably be hounded out of here for paying more than I should be, but booking via their website just saves so much time. And I guess 'Time is Money' so please let me stay :undecided
I vow to hound them for more discounts0 -

Hi Getafix
Like my PM said £3-£4+ is a huge sum per parcel to pay extra.
Remember to also claim 35% of the commission costs the seller pays for selling the item. www.quidco.com clear your cookies beforehand. They take up to 1.2m wide for this service but other agents using Parcelforce will carry 1.5m wide
for a similar price.I see also that PPD have a new 1.2m-1.84m wide service £14.99.Only good if you parcel exceeds 1.5
otherwise use the Parcelforce agent
You can also save the pick up details making it alot easier on your next visit.
The whole booking procedure takes only a few minutes.
Why pay more just for loyalty?0 -
Isayoldchap, can you explain a bit more about claiming 35% of the commission costs the seller pays for selling the item? What's that about?
(Isayoldchap - works so well in a reply - love it! :rotfl:)
(EDIT: Ah I see ebay via quidco, sorry its been a long day, took some time for that to sink in)0 -

One good thing that will come out of this is that if you go through Quidco for the Ebay cashback you will be earning 70% more commission for being a loyal customer to that agent.Well they are charging you 70% more for their service for the privilege.Loyalty stinks.Dump them and move on.Remember to delete those cookies.0 -
Guys (and gals),FYI - Each time you buy a parcel delivery from an eBay seller of parcel courier services, you can get back an amount equivalent to 50% of the seller's eBay fees, paid to your PayPal account. In fact this 'rebate' applies to anything you buy from an eBay seller. PM me if you want to know how to do this.0

Hi old chap, but I am not talking about quidco. I am talking of another way to get 50% of the seller fees. And, regarding payment into bank account v. PayPal it depends on how long it takes for you to cash out or for the payment to be made. But a 15% disfference with no minimum amount threshold will more than make PayPal worthwhile.0
