    11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?

    Just got confirmation of my new membership from Catalink. Didn't realise it was through them when I entered. It took a change of email address to rid myself of them last time.

    Catalink emailed as soon as my entry went through.
    There is no unsubscribe link in the email. You have to login, thereby confirming your email address as 'live' and you are already automatically signed up for 3rd parties, so they will be notified immediately you sign in, that your email address is 'live'.

    Their twitter account has 21 tweets, last used in April 2013.

    Final comment :
    Please note it can take up to approximately 1 month to be fully unsubscribed from our system.

    Not a great start to the New Year.
