I think that might be a good idea, I suffer from Hemiplegic migraine which is like a mini stroke. I have had a migraine (luckily without the loss of the use of my left side) for a week now.

I have a suicidal Husband, a looming redundancy and I had to go to the crisis centre to beg for food.
Husband has constant pain and now feels like a failure and like he has no use the assessment centres parrot off the same phrase about audit piles and how if your entitled it will be back dated.
Lets face it the chances are it will be refused and we will have to start all over again thats something you can cope with if your not already 6 months on.

Going to see if my GP will speak to me about husband I think he needs further help at the moment I am seriously terrified about what he might do to the extent I have taken the painkillers to work with me.

I think I would have been scared too. Definitely ring the physio department, but also see if you can go and see the GP. They might be able to refer to other services too.
I am just off the phone now to Atos, they have said again my form is with audit but that they will leave a message with the audit team to see if they can complete it. They also said other people had been waiting longer to hear so not feeling very positive about it all.
Good luck with getting extra support from the nhs in the meantime.

And definitely get some support for both of you in terms of mental health, via GP usually in first instance then to the mental health teams. You need and deserve the extra support, even if that wont help with money, it is very necessary.

just had a phone consultation with my GP.
Bit pointless, has offered me anti depressants, so basically have some tablets that you cant afford to pay for if your still feeling like this in a couple of months time speak to me again.

Go in and see the GP, maybe even a different one. Doesnt sound like one you spoke too was very helpful.
