Thread has been quiet this week!

£10 paid for me today, bit reluctant to pay any more with it being half term this week, don't want to run short!

    Hope everyone is well Xx

I'll be back next week, nearly cleared my £1000 overdraft, can't really make over payments into the account all my money goes into ;)

Money really tight tax credits have made overpayments to me ..dreading that letter dropping on my doormat..struggling outgoings starting to exceed income... I don't drive, drink, smoke, go out..I am certainly not living the high life... ( Iam going to Rome for a few days something to look forward to mind you spending money still to find, daughter owes me £220 which I wanted to pay towards credit card looks like its going towards spending money .. really cheesed off.. just feel like i'am working towards exsisting only and having to justify everything £10.00 paid off towards Argos still chipping away though

Sorry to read that jaxsmar and I hope you are feeling brighter now. I've been on this journey 3 years next month and have had many days where I felt like you do. Thankfully it does get easier! Just hang in there and keep chipping away, it all makes a difference. Enjoy Rome Xx

I've paid an extra £40 to Bcard today. When the normal monthly direct debit goes through on Tuesday it will leave me with a balance of just £150 to clear before the 0% runs out on 1st July, and I will have avoided all interest :j. All down to the focus of this thread!

Can finally rest after a manic few weeks. Thanks for your good lucks jaxsmar and purplegrape I was unsuccessful at my first interview and I withdrew from the other one because I was successful at interview for the Scottish Headship Qualification course which in the longer term is (all going well) great as it improves my chances of becoming a headteacher one day. My local authority only selected 9 people from their rounds of interviews so I'm pretty lucky. As the other job was in a different local authority I'd to make a choice (hopefully I've made the right one). I'm still waiting to hear about one job I applied for right enough and, enough it'd mean giving up the course because it's in another area but it's a job I really fancy.

All this means I've lost tack if my overpayments a wee bit but did pay £130.69 extra on Friday so I've cleared off my Next account! Just waiting for June statement so see if any interest and then I'll get account closed!
