How to beat a smell

Do what i do..First thing when i get up is open the windows..Then if i remember close them before bed....If not i freeze. It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

It's a boy thing - have 2 sons so know what it's like! Don't keep hassling him - he will be so embarrassed. Just open the windows when you can, change the bed often and try to ignore it otherwise - he will grow up soon enough..0

It is a man smell. No specific name for it but man smell!
I cant stand to sleep on my OH Pillow as it has a man smell, he is not dirty or smelly himself, showers everyday uses deodorant etc, but his pillows!!!!! Man they hum. Think it must be a throwback to the caveman, there must be something in their sweat thats supposed to make them more attractive!
But seriously leave off your nephew a bit, I would have been mortified at 14 if someone suggested I/How I lived was making a smell. Keep cleaning his room, changing his sheets, doing his laundry but don't make a big deal.Member for a long time only recent poster

I agree - don't mortify the poor lad!
Next christmas, just get him a single sock...
In all seriousness, it's probably something he can't help or do anything about. Could you stick a plug-in or anything in there, or one of those air neutraliser type things?0 -

Just wondering why are you in his room looking under his bed? You're not going in there cleaning all time are you? He should be able to pick his own socks and pants off the floor, even if it needs some nagging or him running out of stuff to wear to do it!
My mum hardly ever went in my room as a teenager, my room was pretty messy but if I needed something washing it went in the laundry basket.0 -
