Well done on the tesco shop Maria! Definitely need to get more tips from you.
I have listed a few things on ebay tonight. I wanted to sell a couple of things on music magpie but it says i already have an account but i am having trouble getting into it.0 -
Hi everyone, I'd love to join this thread and challenge. Although I have no debts, I would love to save/make lots of money to fund a new laptop ASAP (this ones slowly dying), pass my driving test and buy a car in time for uni this September (so soon! eek!).
So far this year to save money I have:- ordered a voucher from Valued Opinions which will go on ebay
- sold a bed base which came with my mattress but I hated
- Paid £1.43 for my groceries after using my nectar points
- Sold some unwanted money-off coupons on ebay
- done as much overtime as possible in the hopes of a lovely payday

Hi Hannerrbabes , sounds like you are doing well so far and have some good goals.
I have one thing with a bid on ebay and 2 with watchers so hopefully will sell at least 3 things.
Still haven't sorted music magpie, will try that again later.0 -
How are we all doing?
I had my tesco shopping delivered today and not the most MSE but did manage to use around £5 worth of vouchers with it so not bad.
We got our water bill today and i had put aside a bit more than needed so a little bit extra that can come off the credit card.0 -
Having a bad start to the year! I was so hopeful aswell

On Monday, we lost our dog
had to have him put down due to complications from kidney stones. Not only are we completely devastated about the loss of our dog, but it completely wiped us out, we spent all the money we need to pay our debts for the month and then some!
It is technically our own fault, we allowed our insurance to run out and then took out a new policy with a different company (which hadn't yet come into effect) you just don't think you will be this unlucky
Lesson learnt!
most of our debts are from catalogues and we recently had them freeze the interest and set up new payment plans with them... only into the second month of the new payment plans and we can't meet them
Up the creek without a paddle !
Hope everyone else is having a better start to their debt busting !!0 -
