Hi all!
I'm hijacking after seeing your link on Facebook!
I've got 2 grand left to pay off my wedding by the end of March so any tips/advice to save as much as possible would REALLY be appreciated as panic has started to set in now that Xmas is over :-00 -

Hi there, thank you for the welcome. It's my first day of trying to make some progress. I have £50,000 of debt, not including the mortgage. It's all manageable and I'm in no trouble with it but it's too much and I don't like it. I need to sort it out. So today is my first day! I've signed up to the 31 day challenge to try to get some control of spending. I guess other than that I don't really know where to start. Just hoping for some friendship and inspiration at the moment whilst I work out the way forward xDFD - 26th March 2014 :j0

Glad you joined up Emma. I can send you some referral links if you like for things like doing online surveys for points which you can then change to high street vouchers or paypal money.

Ooh yes please!
Also you MUST tell me how to do a weekly shop on £35!! Lol that would save me a fortune!
I think I've subscribed. It's all a bit new! The last time I was on a forum was my pregnancy journal with J :-00 -
I'm a newbie too and would love to be part of this forum - you sound like a very friendly bunch and I am after all the tips I can!
I've already joined three challenges - take lunch to work, clear debts by Xmas 2014 and crazy clothes challenge where I have pledged to only spend £360 on clothes this year. That's more than anyone else on that challenge! But I wanted to be realistic and as most items I buy cost between 40 and 60 pounds I think that's reasonable for the year.
I'm interested in all the ways to top up income but am a bit concerned about time vs money. I never seem to have enough time as it is!
Have already found 18 DVDs we can sell this morning!
Happy new year everyone! XDebt free by Xmas 2014 £7775.64/£13,228.73
