A nice shiny new thread :j
Happy New Year everyone!
I think I am going to try for 100 items decluttered in January (not including normal recycling).
1. Pair of workout trousers that are too big - CS bag
2. Book (only worth a penny if I sold on Amazon) - CS bag

A quick post to subscribe to this thread even though I disappeared towards the end of the year too
I'm going for one item a day or more realistically seven a week since I tend to do blasts. Also going to try really hard to focus on not buying more than I need!! This thread will keep me accountable!!

I want to declutter a lot more in 2014.
I would love my house to have mostly empty surfaces and less furniture.
I'm doing the challenge where you don't buy any new clothes so I hope I will stick to that too. That should help with the decluttering effort.:D
I'm going to look to see if I have anything that can sent to the textile recycling today.HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

This is a great thread, I have a house that's in CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome) and I need to remedy that. I also have the whole house to decorate (we stripped all the house before we moved in and it's been a very slow process as all the doors were bare wood etc etc (I won't bore you with the details)
I will go for 30 things in January.. I thing this and the flyladies will help my house... now I just need to find some decorating and cleaning fairies!0 -
Well, I have started a thread for the past four years and not achieved much. However, this is the year I am finally going to do it
Happy New Year and happy decluttering :TYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Good Luck.
I did the big declutter last year. I found the easiest way was to ask myself- ' If I was moving would I want to wrap, pack, move and unpack this item ?'
It really did help.0 -

That is a good idea, I use the same rule. Don't you feel much better when you have got rid of a lot of stuff?0 -
Happy New Year. I'm decluttering too. I've put all the Christmas decorations away and have decluttered them at the same time. They now fit on one shelf instead of one and a half.
Looking forward to a clutter-free home.
