Hi Katy_ann, has it debited your account or just come off your available balance? Card authorisations usually fall back into your account in around 7 days.
Depending who you bank with, they may remove it now if you explain?
If it's debited your account, contact the company and tell them you want a refund.

Hey, it has come off my available balance but is showing as a pending transaction to be debited, is this like a shadow payment?

Sometimes they set aside the amount that they expect to take from your balance so that when the free subscription comes to an end they know they can take the money from you. I didn't check mine in all honesty but I cancelled the subscription after the points were added and no money has been taken. It should disappear after the subscription is cancelled.

This happened to me one one other free subscription I did via swagbucks, they took $1 off the account, but once it was cancelled no money was physically taken from my account.

It's common for companies to apply a small charge (usually £1) to check the card's OK. It's usually then refunded immediately so I didn't see anything come out of my account, but it might have done in virtual terms.

Check tomorrow and see if it's been refunded and if not, mail their support. RealPlayer have been around for years, so I wouldn't be concerned that you wouldn't get it back quickly.
