Yes, this is the truth. UK users cannot verify their account via any other method because the on-line system does not accept UK postcodes or mobile phone numbers. After you have put in the code you receive on the postcode, you can set yourself up to do on-line verification for each gift card you order. You can then just answer your security question each time. Anyone who says anything else isn't telling the truth!
Although other users have sometimes reported having to verify by post again later on.
That simply is not correct. There are two accounts at my end, mine and a friend. Neither of us have ever received postcards for verification.
We do, however, both use address verified email addresses provided by landline suppliers.
It would appear to me that SOME people have to verify by postcard but not everyone.
There was a discussion about this earlier in this thread and a couple of others said they hadn't had to postcard verify either.

I've cashed out £100 in paypal vouchers & never had to verify by postcard, I think it was just email & only once, & I'm in UK.0

I rarely put in a ticket for these anymore as they never pay out, or make a big deal that they are entering you into some draw.
My biggest grudge is the recent change to the daily bonuses. Used to be that you got 10% of the target - target of 90, bonus of 9, etc. Now the bonuses are always slightly off. They claim that they are both up and down so it evens out, but over the last month the daily bonuses amount to less than 10%, so they are making an overall saving on the points they give out when targets are met. For a target of 108, you are more likely to get a bonus of 10 than 11.
I used to aim for 300 SB a day, and usually made it; these days I aim for the first target and then forget about it. I might make less AGV's, but I have a lot more time for myself.
Just to let you and others know, I submitted a ticket for the daily that ended in a blank screen.
I told them what happened and asked "Please can you issue me the missing 70 Swagbucks?"
I got a reply back saying "Sorry for the trouble. We have issued you the 70 missing Swagbucks." :j
So, it is worth submitting a ticket. (although they didn't give them to me the last time.)
Better to get some back than non at all.0 -

Neither of you are lying.
You are however both talking about two slightly different things:
1 - the email you routinely have to click *every time* AFTER you make an order, to verify it was the owner of the account who requested it (or alternatively answering security questions)
2 - the notification that users get at some point when they attempt to make an order that they need to confirm via post or phone (Only post option available to UK users) that they live at the residence they have registered with BEFORE they can carry out the order.
Please note QQO: WizzBang did write that some seem to have to do it sooner rather than later, and it seems some long term users have never had to - I assume this is because the rules have changed since they joined and perhaps they will need to at some point in the future.
Personally, I had to do this (postcard) before I could make my first order, I'm sure you've seen others posting on here saying "I've been on here a year and now it's asking me to verify by post!" .. It seems to be something that (certainly more recent users) have to do, the only difference is that it seems to vary at which point they are asked to do it.
I am absolutely not trying to get involved in any hostility here: this is an attempt to reconcile this disagreement so it doesn't continue.
KBL: First - was the reward you tried to claim $ or £? There's an option on the side of the homepage which lists $, but go to the rewards store via the link at the top of the page and it'll show £.
If it's not that...
You might want to write to the support people and see what's going on - I'm assuming you're in RoI rather than NI?
It may be that it's not set up to recognise Irish addressesI'm assuming you're on the UK version of the site and maybe they aren't including you
If you're on the US version (from reading this site this has happened to others before I think? They've accidentally selected different options when registering or something) and it was rectified for them.
Any other Irish users about who might be more useful here than me?0 -
