Some little boys like them - some big ones too. It gives them hope.
This summer has been really good to be honest. made a few decisions, start a new job and have almost got through moneywise. I have some lovely friends. There is lots to do.
Positve. keep thinking positive thoughts.
A home of my own is now the long term aim. Debt then savings then mortgage. It will happen.
Good. You have an aim. Your goal is achievable. Now break it down into smaller targets.
tired. again. hope I sleep better tonight.
Big thoughts are tiring. Wishing you sweet dreams.

Hi Buffy just checking in. You're making good progress
My last few nights sleep have been rubbish too - combination of itchy eczema and dog crying to be let out at 3am
Then finding a bone outside she'd forgotten about and gnawing on it in the hallway for over an hour
Good job I'm off work at the moment. Anyway keep up the challenge! Will be good to see how we both have done on 25 November.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Ahem.
So today was busy, went to the dentist, bottled it but on the plus side no charge, kind dentist. Also booked eye test (FREE!) as need new glasses. I am budgeting 200 pounds for 2 pairs. It will go on the CC and be paid off from September's pay.
Day was just annoying, couple of examples of people being !!!!!!. And yeah not my greatest day!

I thought the same about the bug magazine-although bugs don't frighten me, just thought what a rubbish idea:rotfl::rotfl:
Good luck with your goals buffsterBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Just written on Steph's diary about how amazing this place is. You are all marvellous.
Really. really. Its like magic. Just been reading the news and holy crap that was depressing.
Then I read a few posts in debt free diary land and think oh its ok. There are nice people in the world. Of course you could be cats but you get the idea.
Big news in Buffy world is that I got paid! BIG RELIEF.
have chocolate biscuits and tea. will write more when I have given them my full attention

I LOVE chocolate biscuits. Like REALLY LOVE them.
ok.
So I put my actual pay into Snaggles' spread sheet.
I don't, it turns out save enough for the car insurance!
SO now I doThe spread sheet worked it out for me.
My budget includes 200 for debt repayment which this month will pay off the remaining 100 for the spends CC (the rest of the now 321 is due in October) and a 100 for the Big debt.
I have 460 left to pay for food and petrol.... that could be interesting! However I do have 70 left from this month (somehow) so I think it is doable.
It is just working out the costs of the new job.

Yay to Snags spreadsheet working for you!
We're about to be down just over £100 per week due to eldest leaving education and going off to Uni....I've sort of ignored it but it happens next week so I really do need to reaccess the situation.

She's going to be living at home (paying a very small rent but we don't want her to go into more debt than she has to whilst studying). The £100 per week down is just through loss of Child benefit, tax credits and maintenance!!!! She has a part time job and a small bursary so she knows she's funding herself."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

I'm sooo thrilled that the spreadsheet seems to work!!
Do you think it could do with the option to show the savings needed for things that are paid quarterly, bi-annually etc, and to be able to put in the date of the next payment, so it works out how much you need to save each month until it's due, rather than just how much if you save it over 12 months?
Er, did that make sense? Still on my first coffee. :rotfl:I'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. If you have any questions about debt management and debt relief under Scots Law, just ask.The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow.0
