    It is a scary thought.
Even I could borrow a wee bit with no prospect of ever paying it back

It is scary as with the world economic crisis etc I thought all credit had stopped. But it appears not.

I don't really mention much about the news here but the Iraq situation is freaking me out. I sometimes think stability is a myth.

The ex has been in touch. Again with the weirdness.

I am going to Homebase this morning. My friend has done up her garden. BIG TIME jealousy from me!! well envy? Any how am going to plant my veg garden today!

Have also been inspired by said friend to plant up an old rabbit cage base. So long as I can find some cheap plants!

    Am back from my travels!

    Homebase is sodding expensive.

I bought 2 peppers and a tomato plant. I had two corn and two nearly tomato plants and 4 virtually dead strawberry plants. I bought lots of compost and a knife.

All are now planted :) in a disused fish pond. :)

also I laid new turf for the guinea pig run.

and planted a white flowery plant thing.

    this makes me happy.
    (50 quid poorer)

hopefully the happy feeling will continue whilst I clean my room.

Strawberry plants are so resilient. It never fails to impress me how they can be pretty much dead, then spring back to life and produce fruit a few weeks later. I rescued some that were knotted in weeds in my garden a few weeks ago. I doubt they will flower/fruit this year, but I bet they will next year.

  • Two things
    1. I borrowed 50 quid from the pets account, just in case. I should be a cash only operation but if I need it is there rather than the CC

    2. I went and registered with an agency today and quite fancied the bloke who registered me, I'll never see him again but it was nice to think.........helllllllllo :)
Also as ex has been in touch it reminds me he is not the only option.

ooo have bought house plants (last few weeks) and they are SO nice. my window looks lovely.

  • Hello :)

    I have a job!

school is a bit suss but it will do :) means I have pay! and no gaps on my cv

am glad really, new job is nearer home and at least I have one. Bit disappointed in the pay tho. The BS that went on at my old school is coming home to roost and so am not being paid what I am worth at all.

Tightening some belts as ever. Will be less petrol. lol.
