Little guy will be 2 years and about 3 months. If its a wed or fri it means me getting mil or my mum to look after niall, I would have to think up a good excuse. I hope to get my scan date after I see my midwife which is thursday.

Hello all
sorry for my lacks of posts in the past few weeks, my laptop is just back from repair and while I was able to keep updated on the thread with my Kindle, I hate typing on it!
I am 12 weeks tomorrow, so will be hopping off to the next thread in the next few days I suppose! I've got to make an appointment to get my bloods done again, somehow there was a "mislabelling" of my last ones, and I hate getting blood taken (well I guess no-one enjoys it much!)
One thing I've to think about soon is the flu vaccine - my MW says it's recommended for all pregnant women now, mostly I'm just terrified of the needle. What do you ladies think?

Not much you can do if you have no choice to take LO . I'm sure they would understand.
Flu vaccine - i am signed up to get it at work as they do it for free to everyone every year. It isn't too bad as far as jabs go.0 -

I am not good with needles either but the flu jab was better than both bloods and the whooping cough (latter was more painful afterwards than at the time).
This is the first time I have had it done in ages but the thought of flu on top of pg is truly horrific

Hi all
Nothing to report here. Thankfully the spotting has stopped now which is a relief. Thanks for all the comments regarding m/s, it's nice to hear from both sides of the camp. One thing I have noticed is I am a little bit emotional at the moment, in that I welled up watching a documentary about motorways!
Looking forward to hearing some more good news from scans soon. I need my fix!0 -
I nearly cried watching postman pat the movie haha.0

Hi all, a message for those in the South/near Bluewater...
I just got an email from Emma's Diary offering 200 pairs of free tickets to the Baby & Toddler show in Bluewater this weekend. You need to follow the link below and quote ED18 in the promotional codes section. I think they went quickly last time for the Manchester one, so its worth checking soon if you are interested. Hope it works for you!
