Ttc39- good luck for you scan keeping everything crossed for you xxx

Monty- that is terrible I too think you should take it up with hr xx

So making plans for my next goal date of 28th April ... One day at a time.... The scan yesterday wasn't a great picture as the fertility clinic doesn't have the same scanners as the epu I couldn't really see a lot but the nurse said she could see all she needed and expected to see so taking it as ok for now ... X

Thank you for all the kind words. I rang hr today and I'm writing a long long grievance tomorrow although sadly it's my word against hers and she has statements from all the team leaders stating why I'm not up to the job. I've told them that she has asked them to do this and told them things are not working out so naturally they will hang on her every word. I'm hoping they just end my contract and pay me 2 weeks notice. I know I'm more than capable of the job, most of the sales team have told me they don't want me to leave but she is twisted and her junior managers hang on her every word and she has a reign of terror, they would never go against her.

To those worrying, I've felt the same, it seems forever since I had my last scan it showed 6-7 weeks and I'm now 12/13 and no scan until a week on Thursday. I've stopped feeling sick and I've been having small stomach cramps so been worried, but I've a very prominent bump and this week I've had ladies ask me when I'm due! One even said wow you're not having twins are you? Hahaha I don't think so, just a big bump!

I weighed myself today, at the start of my pregnancy I lost a stone and four pounds. I've only put four pounds back on.

My scan can't come quick enough, and then I'm seeing the obs consultant the following Monday. Once all that's out the way I will be able to relax a little!

Hi folks. Monty your boss sounds like an absolute moron. I don't get on with my boss that much but if he ever tried anything like this he'd be sorry! Fingers crossed HR will help you and she will get what's coming.

Best of luck with your scan tomorrow ttc. It must be really worrying seeing that discharge.

AFM I called my GP surgery this morning asking to book a midwife appointment for a few weeks time to book in, thinking I will book for week 8 as they only have antenatal clinic one afternoon per week and week 8 is the only week I don't already have something on at work until week 11. Receptionist told me I have to go in after work to fill some forms in and midwife will then phone me to book an appointment. So I did that, gave her my forms, and she said midwife will phone me at 11-13 weeks to arrange something and if I haven't heard anything by week 12 to call them... !!!!!!? I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to have my dating scan at 10-12 weeks so there's no way I'm waiting until 12 weeks to point out that they've forgotten about me. And what about my booking in appointment? When am I going to get info about smoking, drinking, what I should and shouldn't be eating, my choice of where I have my care and scans? I wasn't expecting to be seen yet, but I was at least expecting a basic level of information that's vital to first trimester development during my first trimester! Is that asking too much? Not to mention the fact that although I'm entitled to time off work to attend these things, more than a few days notice would be nice as I often have meetings and trips to London booked weeks in advance, as does husband. So I will need to give work some notice.

    Hi ladies.

I got my BFP on Saturday and predict to be 5+3 as of today.
I called GP surgery today to advise of pregnancy and have an appt with the Dr on Tuesday.

I am so excited about this but after trying for so long and actually getting a natural BFP it doesn't feel real yet. I just want the next 7weeks to hurry up.

I have been experiencing "cramp-like" pains for last week. It feels more like a boulder in there - I'm assuming this is ok. Otherwise only other thing I'm feeling is lift-headed.

I do have a question - during tests and appts with fs - I found that I have fibroids and underactive thyroid. However, I have got my BFP before starting any treatment, etc. and this info is with specialist not GP. Should I be informing GP of these? Will they have impact on pregnancy?

I'm so happy to finally be joining this thread!

    Really good news Tink.

TTc - big hugs, really hope everything turns out ok.

Monty-doggy - it really does sound awful how you are being treated. I think the fact this started after you told them you are pregnant speaks volumes and hopefully you can use that against them.

Mouthscradle - that does seem long to wait but in some areas they do booking and scan in one go so maybe this is what is happening?

Carrot - i had cramp like pains the first couple of weeks but seem to have died down now. I would inform the gp, not sure if would affect but worth checking.

  • Monty - your boss sounds horrible hope that HR can help you.

Ttc39 - good luck with your scan today.

Tink - happy that your scan went well. Taking one day at a time sounds like a good idea.

Afm - today it's one week after I got my bfp, I m now 5 weeks.
But I do not have any symptoms. No sore boobs,no cramping Aldo now, no nausea I m getting worried is this normal to be 5 weeks and no symptoms?
