ttc39 really hope everything is ok for you.

Tink I will be thinking of you tomorrow, I very very much hope the scan goes well and everything is fine.

T2D I am not going anywhere near a baby shop until at least 12 weeks, but I did look at baby sewing projects on Pinterest and will have to restrain myself!

I too love to hear of IVF successes, I was so nearly in that boat myself (and god forbid if this miracle pregnancy doesn't go well I will be back there again), I know the desperation of infertility and while every pregnancy is wonderful news, I think the IVF pregnancies are especially fantastic :o

Hi ladies. Mind if I join you? I just graduated from the TTC thread after getting my BFP on Friday. I'm 3+6 now, due 22/12/14 according to my FF app (2 days before my own birthday!).

I'm glad to see someone mentioned AF cramps. I had mild ones all week. Last night they were bad enough to wake me up in the early hours and tonight they suddenly started and were agony, I was on all fours on the floor at one point doing deep breathing. Like severe period pains and also really bad lower back pain. Glad they've stopped again now. I was so frightened, I keep checking for blood.

Tinkwings best of luck for your scan tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

    Morning all

Well me and the DH had a bit of a shock last night. Bit of background.....

We have a DS who is 2 and I did sometime in January write a 'woe is me' post. Basically DH is in the forces and they changed his postings meaning he wouldn't be here much for the next 2 years which I, at the time, believed would scupper our chances of baby 2. Anyway that was more just a reaction to the forces constantly changing our plans, I'm not normally a feel sorry for myself kind of person!

I had been feeling tired this last week, unusually so and also having checked realised I was late. Normally I would have noticed if I was a day late but it's been a manic month, DH's nan is in hospital basically waiting for the inevitable to happen so it's been a lot of toing and froing.

So last night I thought I'll take a test just to confirm I'm not pregnant, had some left over from a while ago, and got BFP!! Did 3 more and all were BFP and happened straight away, no having to wait for the line to appear.

To say we were stunned is an understatement. It took us about 2 years to conceive DS but this time it would appear it was my second month off the pill. We worked out dates last night, with DH working away it's fairly easy to pinpoint dates and reckon we must have conceived at the end of Feb!!

Going to phone the doctors when they open this morning and book in with the midwife.

Sorry I'm rambling it's just still not registered yet!!

Congrats love actually! Lovely to see another successful ivf pregnancy.

I'm impressed you went to a baby shop. I only went this week for the first time (week 14) and still felt intimidated. Like when you go into a designer shop and the shop attendants give you a 'look' - all of which is probably in my head!!

    Congrats again!

Thanks T2D , yes I always wanted to go to a baby shop but never did as it's too painful. Now atleast if we go we can plan n see ourselves buying these things in future. But definitely I m not buying anything until by 12 week scan.
