Good luck on both bits. I did play the guitar for a while; but it was a tad difficult with having small hands...

Get a jar and some post it notes and write on a post it when something good happens/makes me smile/achievements etc with the date and pop it in the jar. This time next year I'm going to look at the notes in the jar to remind myself that life indeed has its good points and not all lows. I really want to change jobs too, aim higher, get more confident; in a word get me back to my old self. :-)
I really hope 2014 is a better year for you a*a.0 -
Find a new job - if I'm made redundant. We were given the good!! news on the Friday before we broke up for Christmas!! Fourth round of redundancies with another thirty people to go!!
Plus try not to be so weepy and emotional - 2013 has been a hell of a year for my daughter - her partner was diagnosed with leukaemia in August and it has been a long slog for them both with chemo/job hunting/form filling/recovering etc. All I can do is be there for her and keep their cats fed and their home secure and comfortable while they deal with the treatment and daily 90 mile journeys for my daughter to visit.
So trying to keep a brave face when at times all I want to do is bawl about how unfair life is a number one priority for me. On a positive note her partner is in remission with one more course to go - their mortgage is paid off and they have been nothing but positive throughout all the hassle that has gone on! 2014 will be better!! :T
SwampyExpect the worst, hope for the best, and take what comes!!:o0 -
A diagnosis for my health problems, which would lead to proper treatment enabling me to get at least some of my former self/life back.
To carry on with my weight loss
To find a relationship
To move out of home.
A big want list I know but i'll be 27 soon and it really is time I get to start living life again...0
