Not being a believer of new years resolutions because I think if you are going to do something do it now:)
What I did want to hear is what you want to achieve in the year ahead?

I want to do something for pleasure every day- read for a while/ sew something/ walk along the park etc. (I'm calling it my resolution but not my New Year's Resolution.)
As for goals, I hope to get accepted to university for a postgraduate course. Fingers crossed for me!They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

To see the next one..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
I want to get back into my art and also start sewing some clothes for myself. I also have to face up to tackling the garden,.Norn Iron Club member 4730

I'm going to do something I saw on Facebook. Get a jar and some post it notes and write on a post it when something good happens/makes me smile/achievements etc with the date and pop it in the jar. This time next year I'm going to look at the notes in the jar to remind myself that life indeed has its good points and not all lows. I really want to change jobs too, aim higher, get more confident; in a word get me back to my old self. :-)0

I saw that as well. Looks lovely. I am going to save £1 a day and plough though my OU course I have been putting off. I need to do it, but am telling no one about both of these as I want to surprise everyone with a weekend away next year with my £1's and get a job!!“Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff.”0

Well I'm taking part in the London to Brighton Challenge next year (100km walk :eek) and a fortnight later taking part in the Edinburgh Moonwalk ....and I want to complete both of them!
I want to be happy in my job - whether that means a move I haven't decided yet.
As far as money challenges are concerned, I would like to pay £1000 more than I need to (if that makes sense) off my credit cards.2014 Target;

I want/need to combat agoraphobia, so from tomorrow I will make the effort to leave the house, even if I just walk to the end of my driveway.
I want to learn to play guitar too, so does my ds so we'll learn together

I'm not a big believer in new years resolutions either OP, - We do set goals, but don't wait until near year
2013 has been epic year for us, looking forward to more of the same
One goal we have over the next 6 months is to get on the property ladder, this is something we have been aiming towards and saving for, for just over five years. When we have achieved that, we hopefully take a short, even weekend away, type holiday within the UK, as haven't been away in five years, and couldn't afford a honeymoon
Happy new year and all the best to everyoneThe opposite of what you know...is also true0
