A good UU morning:

Tesco Soleil sftersun - bought when I got sunburn 18 months ago. WMBA, have been using as moisturiser for a while to get through.

BS earth lovers fragrance free shower gel. Liked this, lasted really well, will definitely buy again if it's 50% off - can't bring myself to spend the full £5 on a shower gel.

Harmony smoothie serum face moisturiser - not sure about this one, it's like an exfoliating moisturiser, worked well but the grains blocked up the pump, and it was difficult to scoop out the rest. I'm throwing away the last 2 apps because I can't get them out.

Benefit mascara - love the little tubes that come on magazines, a great mascara and perfect handbag size. Also just the right amount to use before it goes off. I'd actually buy this if I could buy the little tube, not a full size one (would have to throw about £10 worth every time)

Forgot to add 1 IN: clear nail polish. Someone said I can paint nickel jewellery to protect my skin (i'm allergic). Going to try it on some earrings, watches and buttons (jeans).

That's a good point! However, I was bored with my Ted Baker shower gel and started using it as hand wash. Then I fell in love with it all over again and ended up buying 2 lots of the body spray and decanting it from the hand wash bottle back into the shower gel bottle! I am presently using the Ted Baker bubble bath as hand wash and, luckily, am not tempted to do the same. It's a different fragrance and doesn't linger. Also, with a lot of my 'best' shower gels, I have matching body lotions and/or perfumes, so prefer to keep the shower gel for that purpose.


I have 3 bottles of my son's shower gel here. He moved out some time ago and I can't persuade him to take them - he's resisting his hoarding tendencies because he doesn't want to be like me! Not sure whether to keep them for hand wash or take them to the food bank.


I have thought a few times that it would be nice to just have one of everything and just replace it when it ran out - it's a long time since I was like that and, given the size of my stash, I doubt I ever will be!


Still puzzled about where my stash of nail varnishes have gone. I had a make up bag full of them but no idea where they've gone. I was considering whether I could find someone to pass them on to but am wondering now whether I've thrown them away and forgot!

Boots sell the mini Benefit They're Real for about £9.50, it is usually by the tills.

I have two outs

OS Tea Tree & Mint shower gel - repurposed as dog shampoo.

BS Green Apple shower gel - repurposed as kitchen hand wash, it is lovely though and I have more in the stash to use as shower gel.

Blue sky today so we are hoping to get into the garden and sort out the wreckage from the storms.

Hello ladies, I'm back in again for January. Welcome to all the newbies and welcome back to the ladies who have returned to the fold. Thanks for the new thread and the photos - I do love to see pictures of other people's stashes. More please!!!

It's been slow going for me again so far this month and the Project Pan list is still ongoing. I also have a single in to declare which was a late Christmas gift from OH's cousin - a 300ml Molton Brown Vitalising Vitamin AB+C Bath & Shower Gel. I did however manage to return two sealed boxes of Garnier UltraLift 2in1 Serum & Cream to Boots which I bought before I rejoined the challenge last year. I asked for the refund on a gift card and will use it to treat myself to something special when I've used up some more of the stash.

I do KT2802 - for me its the addiction of needing to own them - then ive lusted after them for so long I save them for 'best' - stupid I know. The thread is helping me to change but its a long process.

I used to do this all the time too, except my products sit for months and years rather than just weeks. Like moneyless mac, for me it is the need to actually own the product rather than the urge to use it straight away.

I have come to the conclusion that my problem is reduced items, sales and deals such as buy one get one free, 3 for 2 etc. I always used to feel that I couldn't pass up such a bargain and I may as well stock up when something is cheap. However, I am finally managing to change my way of thinking and have realised that the deals always seem to come around time and again. It's working so far and I am aiming to buy nothing at all this month.

8- Karma bubble bar from Lush - yummy and the mister's favourite so WDBA!
9- sensitive toothpaste from germany - we went to Berlin and forgot our toothpaste so this was an emergency purchase. Not bad though.
10- So fab perfume - I actually quite liked this, didn't last long on you though. Smelt like tobacco and vanilla, in a nice way.
11- manuka doctor age defying serum with bee venom - used this once and my face felt, um, hot...so I used it up as make up remover before cleanser and toner. WDNBA :eek:

Why, oh why is everything I put on my skin recently bringing me out in a rash or spots!?! :mad: My skin hates this time of year anyway with the cold and central heating, but it looks awful at the moment. Then I feel down and get the dangerous urge to buy something to cheer myself up.........

I've been trying to use up the face wipes on my Project Pan list but I can only use them every few days as they irritate my skin.

Ok here we go an up to list of what I have and what I am using! This time I am not calculating nail polish’s and make up that is in use as I had a clear out of these in December so just have my favourites I use for everyday! It is my intention got COLD TURKEY and buy nothing unless I am down to the last one in my stash... I have to be strong! Back in November when I last counted my stash I had 197 items, so it's gone up... now I am on 212!:j

I want to get down all the el cheapo perfume's I have and body sprays, since I find I tend to go for more premium brands these days... so these are a priority to use up! I also have a 2-day travel break coming up so I intend to use some travel items on that There is also some put aside for a hospital stay which is on the cards shortly!

Feeling more positive today so thanks all for the lovely comments regarding my disastrous dating night :A

I also thought I'd tell you that I have devised a rota for my perfumes, every week I will use one perfume and one alone, and change it every monday, this will mean all my bottles get equal 'air time' and I don't get bored and start wanting to buy new ones!
