    Hi Mooloo

I read often and post rarely but just wanted to stop by and say Happy Christmas to you and the lovely DGD.

I think you have had an amazing year and your business seems to be thriving. Good luck stopping Mr T but be mindful that many of us had started to shop elsewhere as we are fed up with the big supermarkets having it all their own way. I now use an independent butcher for my meat (not as expensive as you think & they will bag up in the portion sizes I want for the freezer) and I use Aldi for veg. I also shop local wherever I can as I can get personal service at a reasonable price.

I honestly couldn't cope with half of what gets thrown at you ;)

    Much love and admiration xx

  • I hope you have a good Christmas and extremely successful 2015 Mooloo!

Life doesn't seem to get any easier for you but you are so stoic- you really deserve some luck next year!

    Merry Christmas Everybody !
We visited Biggesy of Mooloo's this morning, delivering presents etc.
Then on to my Mum and Dads.
Molly's daughter came by. Molly was in hospital having 3 pints of life saving blood. Thoughts etc are with them this year more then ever.
This afternoon we are watching TV etc and eating snacks etc
Tonight we are going to a Christmas party at some friends and are sharing Christmas with friends this year. So no major cooking for me and some peace. Mind you packing up the car and hitching DGDs bike onto the towbar was a mamouth task.

We seem to have left a bag of presents for my hosts at home! ( oh dear!).
So not a good start from me.
Family have all been intouch either messenger or Skype.
My parents and my sister and her partner are not well, so they have postponed their lunch until another day when they feel better!
I feel thoroughly spoilt, with new dinner service, cutlery, Cath Kidston tea pot, mug etc. A new iron and ironing board ( with a cow cover of course!)
A Christmas dress, smellies, planner, picture frames and a lovely big red handbag!!
DGD is playing with her snooker, mini table top version, Minecraft boxes, clothes, colouring mat, and quite a lot of other things! She's happy anyway.

Yesterday was a lovely day, so much lovely food.
We played beetle drive, snakes and ladders and then Buzz on their play station. Of course DGD wants one now. She has been bought a dance mat to use with their play station when we visit. We may have to visit more often!
If the weather is dry then we will go for a walk, and DGD can have a go on her bike. She doesn't get much chance to ride it at the moment.
We are stopping one more night before we go back home.
Then I need to concerntrate on my goals and plans for the coming year which is fast approaching.
This year has all in all been quite a good year. Not without it's trials and tribulations ofcourse but certainly it's been a better year with the business, and my health improvements, and I'm hoping the success of the last 4 months will continue into the new year.
Soon my one and only advert will be going through all the doors in the town and surrounding Villages, so that will hopefully bring my business some more trade.
The classes etc need to be focused on, the momentum of the alterations continued, and the tweaking of the items for sale in both the secondhand and the upcycled section.
I still need several more hours in the day though!
I will also be trying to attend some of the town business meetings, but that's babysitter dependant.
Time to go and be sociable again, and get off of my mobile phone!

I hope everyone had a good Christmas, and there were no major upsets!
I need to start thinking of a new thread name! And where to put it!

I have come home, had to leave a bit earlier then planned as I am not very well. The daughter of the house took ill during the night, and then I started with a stomach ache around 9am, and was eventually sick around lunchtime. So the drive home seemed much longer then the hour it was!
DGD is hungry, obviously I am not, so it is lucky that I had froZen a spaghetti bog before we left. So heating that in the microwave for her now, and hoping the house will warm up soon as unloading the car I got really cold.
I shall be going to bed as soon as DGD does tonight, and hoping that tomorrow I will be feeling better!
Not good as I have to work on Monday as I have jobs people need for the new year.

Finally I am tucked up in bed. Electric blanket on. I couldn't get warm earlier and although the heating is on 25 + it slowly only crept up to 18 on the thermometer!
DGD is in her room but still not asleep.
I hope she will settle sooner rather then later tonight.

I feel shattered, but at least I wasn't sick anymore. But my tummy is still a bit out of sorts, ( feels like there is a little fire going on in there!).
DGD came waking me up a little while ago. No snow here then. She's disappointed. I am relieved.
I'm nearly out of matches, so will have to go out unless I don't cook! Two matches left is perilously low! The starter went on the cooker years ago. It's an ancient gas cooker I got off Freecycle 4 years ago when we moved here. I would love a new cooker one of these days. Perhaps I will add that to my wish list, and aim a declutter sale at raising money for a cooker amongst other things.
Time for a cup of tea, and see how that goes down.
At least I still have another day to fully recover before I go to work tomorrow.
I think I will take it easy, just potter a bit, as the bags are still dumped in the front room. And the washing will need moving on.
It's also the time of the year when I put on my thinking cap and sort out my goals.
    Have a good day.
