    Me too :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm really not sure what that suggests about us :rotfl:

Kerri gt- good work nabbing NSD # 7 . :j:j Oh and that lambs heart didn't sound pleasant.

Yeah....it wasn't really. I think it could have fed two, sliced up thinly with some sauce, or in a pie. Hey ho, we live and learn
    Hi all,

Being a total misery guts here and feeling sorry for myself one way or another but... amidst my "I'm rubbish at everything" wallow I realised that its only 10th January and I'm now up to 5 NSDs :) Seems I'm not so rubbish after all :)

Hope you're all well and happy

    Kate x

Yeah, that's the attitude :T chin up, January is a hard month for lots of us.

Positivelypurple - my OH has suddenly got the cold today too - must be something in the air (well there obv is...but you know what I mean :o)

No NSD here, took some things back (returns from my internet forays) then bought my DN that little jacket I saw in the charity shop, it actually has a little stain around the lining of the collar, I'm going to give it a wash and hope it comes out.

Also bought some exciting things like shampoo (altogether - ohhhhh) and tissues (ahhhhhhh), tissues seemingly being timely for OH.

No plans to head out tomorrow though and tomorrow dinner planned already :A

Has some sad news last night that our elderly neighbour from our old flat passed away at the weekend :( she was 88 so not totally unexpected but I feel bad that we hadn't seen her for a long time and never managed to get her up to see the new house (were saying at xmas we should really do that when the weather was better). Still, I guess there's no point in beating myself up about it, nothing I can do now.

Another one for me today too.

Put petrol in the car, but that's on my budget, so not included.

Whoops, two more spends to announce / fess up to.

OH a massive Jam fan and From the Jam are playing near us in Nov....cue me being coerced into buying two tickets (though as it's his b'day at the end of the month he might just find those in his card!)

Also ordered this for being back at boot camp:

    http://www.mandmdirect.com/01/details/QW860/Trespass-Womens-Hope-Waterproof-Fleece-Pink

read a few running articles saying about layering with fleeces, and I was thinking a) I need something waterproof b) I need something else warm other than my hoodie. Not necessarily the colour I'd have chosen but the only colour they had - frankly the state I look there the colour of my fleece is the least of anyone's worries!

Not to sound smug or anything but... I've only gorn & got into double figures :j No 10 was a pure fluke yesterday as I'd made up my mind I was going to have a nosy in the sales to see if there was something useful, but at the roundabout I turned into the supermarket instead & we only did muvva's groceries :D Not a clue what induced the change of direction so there's obviously nothing I'm in desperate need of, that won't wait a week or two!

  • I need to spend today as Saturday is the only day I can pop to one shop in town. I'll probably also end up grocery shopping with my mum when I'll get lunch things for the coming week. However...yesterday was a no spend day so that's NSD #3 not sure I'd say I'm on a roll but it's better than I was doing last year, and beginning of term is always a bit more spendy getting back into the routine of school.

  • Hi everyone!

Had a lovely sleep in this morning. :) I've had a very busy week at work, so more than ready for the weekend. I've got 4 NSDs to report, which takes me up to 7. I'm too busy to spend any more during the working week! Although after school last night, I took a quite pleasant walk to Waitrose for something yummy for tea (a lovely shepherds pie) and a pizza for tonight. With this new Waitrose that's only been open a month by me, I wonder if a little Friday night tea might become something of a tradition. :o It's only a 5 minute walk, so very handy.
Today should be another one, but not quite sure yet. And tomorrow won't be, because I need to do my weekly food shop. I'll report back later.
    Have a good one everybody!
