Good morning everyone.
I am seriously lagging behind in reporting on progress this month - back to work and all that.
Anyway I am delighted to have achieved 4 NSDs so far this month - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (so 3 in a row) plus yesterday.
Wednesday was a spendy day because it started with a hospital appointment for DH so parking fees so I combined that with a few bits I needed such as a birthday card and present - isn't January a rubbish month to have a birthday? The shops are just full of the scrag end of the sales stuff.
Anyway well done to everyone taking part and especially to all those who keep the thread up to date0 -
Todays gonna have to be a spendy one because I forgot to put money in baggy for eggs! Ah well, All of £2 but I'll remember next month!2013 NSD 100. Unfortunately tomorrow is going to be a spendy day as we've run out of firelighters boo:mad:
Jp
have you ever thought of making your own firelighters Jeezypeeps i use old candles melted in an old pan or you could break them up in a washed out can and melt them that way
put cotton wool pads / balls in to soak up wax.....when theyre dried and wax hardened ( dosent take long ) you can then tear the cotton wool pads into pieces and they stay alight beautifully to get fire going
vasceline (sp) works very well too
loads of info on diy firelighters if you google easy to do and not messy
NSD#8 bagged today hoping for same again tomorrow that'll be a first for a 4 in a row then ( though i hadnt set those challenges it,ll be a fine feeling
